Welcome to Sarah Khan's online portfolio. This site is currently under construction, but feel free to peruse the clips below.
Sarah Khan is a writer. This means she is not a woman of few words. Consider yourself warned.
Sarah Khan was born in Canada, and then spent a quarter-century wandering around the globe, fancying herself a modern-day nomad. After stints in Toronto, Saudi Arabia, India, Syracuse, and Boston, with visits to 30 countries thrown in along the way, she decided she liked New York City the best. New York has finally returned the favor.
Sarah Khan has a master’s degree in journalism from Syracuse University – which bears the distinction of being the coldest place known to mankind, or, at the very least, the coldest place known to Sarah Khan – and a bachelor’s in English and communications from Boston College. One year, she was on the cover of the Boston College admissions viewbook. She thought for a long time that this made her special. She now realizes that it simply means she looks ethnically ambiguous and claims that she single-handedly made Boston College a diverse place. (Sarah Khan has a penchant for hyperbole.)
Sarah Khan works as an editor at Gotham magazine in NYC and enjoys typing with two fingers, eating frozen Hostess cupcakes, Thanksgiving, sleeping with six pillows, collecting disco balls, dipping French fries in mayonnaise, correcting other people’s grammar, fighting for curly-haired rights, and falling asleep at inappropriate locales and times. But above all, Sarah Khan likes to talk about herself in the third person.
