1953 Hudson Jet (1C) Sedan #245610
The current owner spotted this on the Albany, Oregon Craigslist in April 2014. It appears to be stock 202, 3 speed on column. The body was smoothed out and repainted some years ago. The engine appears to have been rebuilt at that time. The parts that are needed currently are the entire rear seat (it is missing), headliner, door panels, passenger park light cover, front seat cover and floor cover. The driver door has some bondo plopping off. The passenger front fender needs some bondo. There is a bunch of rust through on both rear fenders. The wiper arms are off and in trunk, but the posts revolve. The owner has rubbed the oxidization and rust off the paint and the stain off stainless. The chrome that is left on the bumpers is real shiny when rubbed. After sitting for a long spell with previous owner, it's now been driven around the neighborhood a few blocks, to test out the running gear. The rear brakes locked up once and the car had to be put in reverse to get ‘em unstuck before it would go forward. Time to pull the hubs and inspect the brakes before I take it on the road. This JetLiner currently resides in Oregon as recently as 2014.
