Shady Dell RV Park at 1 Douglas Rd., Bisbee, AZ allows you to stay the night in a vintage trailer.


CALIFORNIA

Petersen Automotive Museum at 6060 Wilshire Blvd. in Los Angeles, CA features a large collection of vehicles with extra in storage that they rotate through the museum.

Vintage Coach at 16593 Arrow Blvd. in Fontana,CA restores, displays, and sells Hudsons.

EVENTS:

Route 66 Rendevous
This year's 20th Annual Route 66 Rendevous will be held September ?, 2009 in downtown San Bernadino, California. Vehicle registration is limited to 1,900 pre-1974 classics, customs, hot rods and other vehicles. Check out the Route-66.org site for further information.


INDIANA

Hostetler’s Hudson Auto Museum
This collection was a donation to the Amish community it's located in, Shipshewana, Indiana. Also read the article Opening of Hostetler Museum, by Jon Battle. The Hostetler Collection was on display at the Gilmore Car Museum for residing in its current home. Click here to go directly to the Jet in the collection while it was hosted at the Gilmore.

MICHIGAN

Ypsilanti Heritage Museum
If you haven't had a chance to visit, I highly recommend it. The museum has some nice Hudsons, Kaiser-Frazers, a Tucker replica, memorabilia, and more. The curator is a wealth of information! The museum is located at 100 E. Cross Street in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Click here for a visitors collection of pics.
Ypsilanti Heritage Museum
Gilmore Car Museum
Nearly 200 vintage cars are housed in restored historic barns and period buildings. I've had the opportunity to visit on more than one occasion. Although there was only one '51 Hudson as of my August 2008 visit, the working 1941 diner, accurate Shell station, and vehicles ranging from steam cars to Deusenburgs are a site not to be missed. This is located in Hickory Corners, Michigan. Click here for a visitors collection of pics.
Chrysler Museum
The Walter P. Chrysler Museum at Chrysler LLc is located in Auburn Hills, Michigan (4 miles east of Pontiac on I-75). Vehicles, interactive displays, and exhibits are proudly display the company's history. They also have a 1909 Hudson Runabout, 1930 Hudson Rumble Seat Coupe, and 1953 Hudson Hornet Club Coupe on display.
Other places to visit include:

Automotive Hall of Fame at 21400 Oakwood Blvd, Dearborn, MI. (It's next to the Henry Ford Museum.)

The Fisher Mansion at383 Lenox Ave., Detroit, MI. This was the riverfront home of Lawrence Fisher, founder of the Fisher Body Co. and president of Cadillac Motors.

EVENTS:

2009 50th National HET Meet
This will be held at the Mariott at 3600 Centerpoint in Pontiac (Detroit), MI during July 13-17, 2009. This is not only the 50th National Meet, but it's also the 100th birthday of Hudson motor cars!

Woodward Dream Cruise
This year's 15th Annual cruise will be held on August , 2009. The one day event runs along Woodward Avenue, through nine host communities in Michigan, from Ferndale to Pontiac. Visit WoodwardDreamCruise.com for further details.


NEVADA

23rd Annual Laughlin Economy Run
This annual Hudson event is held in Laughlin, Nevada. November 2009.


OREGON

Rose City RoundUp
The third annual Rose City Round-Up will be held in Portland, OR on June [TBA], 2010 at the [Jubitz Truck Center]. This is a combined effort by The Driven Dead CC and The Rod Benders CC to celebrate the hotrod lifestyle in Portland and the surrounding area. WASHINGTON

The LeMay Museum was the largest privately owned collection at one time with over 3,000 vehicles. Formerly on the grounds of his home and Marymount, it will soon be housed in a state of the art building in downtown Tacoma.

Early Bird Swap Meet & Car Show
Hosted by the Tacoma Model T Club, the 2010 annual event will be held Saturday, February 13th 8am-5pm and Sunday, February 14th 9am-3pm at the Puyallup fairgrounds in Puyallup, WA. For space informaton, directions, and other info, please visit EarlyBirdSwap.org.

Greenwood Car Show
The Greenwood Car Show is the "granddaddy" of Seattle collector car shows hosting over 500 cars and 20,000 spectators on Greenwood Avenue in north Seattle. Lining the avenue from 70th Street north to 87th Street, you'll see hot rods, customs, classics, muscle cars, and stock models of all marques. 2008 also welcomed motorcycles and trucks to the show. Billetproof NorthWest
Held at the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds in Chehalis, WA. 1964 and earlier TRADITIONAL style rods and customs ONLY! Traditionally styled choppers and bobbers ONLY! (No modern West Coast Choppers, OCC style fluff bikes). No trailer queens. No billet-clad fluff-mobiles. The third annual show will be June 26th-27th, 2010.

Cruise the Narrows
Held annually on the fourth Saturday of July, this year's 13th Annual date is July/Aug 2010. Hosted at the Tacoma Narrows Airport in Gig Harbor, Washington from 9am-3pm, you can visit the Gig Harbor Cruisers website for directions, overnight lodging, trophy categories, and more!

GoodGuys Show 'n Shine
22nd Pacific Northwest Nationals will be held at the Puyallup Fair & Events Center in Puyallup, WA during July 2010. This shows invites rods, customs and classics thru '72. Event features a Friday night drag! See Good-Guys.com for more info on registration and what to expect!

Hot-Rod-A-Rama
Hot-Rod-A-Rama took a break for 2009, but plans to be back at The Swiss (1904 So. Jefferson) in August 2010. This is a pre-1965 traditonal hot rod and custom car show. Please visit HotRodARama.com to register and check out this years vendors, entertainment, etcetra!

Return to Thun Field
The 18th Annual Return to Thun Field Car Show and Fly-In will be on Sunday, August 16th, 2009 from 10AM-3PM. This annual event always falls on the third Sunday in August at the Thun Field (Pierce County Airport) in Puyallup, WA. This is hosted by the Rogers High School Booster Club.

Unique Tin
Unique Tin will be hosting their 35th Annual gathering in Longview, WA on Saturday. August 22nd, 2009. This will be held in the Cowlitz county Expo Center, located on the corner of 7th Avenue and Washington St. Look forward to door prizes, beer garden, Miss Unique Tin Swimsuit Contest, Saturday swap seet, and a young rodder class!
