VOLUNTEER SIGNUP SCHEDULE FOR OCTOBER-NOVEMBER 2007

TOOTSIE ROLL DRIVE FOR THE MENTALLY HANDICAPPED

Our annual October-early November collection of donations at local shopping centers and churches. Typical annual proceeds of around $3000 all goes to benefit the local Association for Retarded Citizens (ARC) of Frederick County.

This year we need help manning a table each Saturday and Sunday in October and early November at the Giant Food on Route 40 (Golden Mile) and the Safeway on Seventh Street (except Oct 20&21). Two men are preferred per store location so you have a brother Knight to visit with. More are welcome. Tootsie Roll supplies (table, chair, signs and apron) will be stored in the KofC shed at Prospect Hall. If you are not relieving someone else or being relieved, please plan on picking up and returning the supplies to the shed. Contact Jose Rector if you need details on this.

We also need help collecting after Masses at St. John’s on Saturday and Sunday, October 13 & 14, 2007.
