ACTIVITIES

Assembly Installation of Officers - Sunday August 3, 2008  @ Pangborn Council Home in Hagerstown, MD

 

Volunteer Assistance for ANNUAL FALL LEUKEMIA WALK at Baker Park in Frederick, MD. OCT 18, 2008.  Held on a Saturday evening in late September or early October. People are needed to from 4:00 PM until 8:30 PM to blow up helium balloons, work sign-up tables, and serve as guides/monitors along the Baker Park walk route. Submarine sandwiches provided at end. Bring your wife along, everyone has a good time and it is for an excellent cause. Annual Assembly Memorial Mass - Held each November jointly with Bishop McNamara Council. This year's date will be Nov 14, 2008.

Annual Assembly Chris tmas Social - Held each December at a local restaurant. This year's date: Dec 19th, 2008, at Brewer's Alley, North Market St., Frederick, MD. Members welcome to bring gift donations for Birth Right of Frederick County.

Annual Assembly Renewal of Vows and Social Dinner - Ladies are invited. Usually held in February with Pangborn Assembly in Hagerstown, MD. There is a social period, followed by a pot-luck dinner. The Renewal of Vows will take place with the ladies moving to another area. SK's wear their tuxedo and social baldric.

Annual Assembly Appreciation (Old Timers) Dinner, Cosy Restaurant, Thurmont MD. - Open for Knights, ladies and family members of any degree. Usually held on the first Wednesday in April. SK's wear their tuxedo and social baldric.

Annual Maryland District Exemplification Banquet - Usually held on a Saturday between February and April. This year, it will be held Saturday, February 28, 2009 at the Holiday Inn and Conference Center , 5400 Holiday Inn drive, Frederick, MD. Exemplification reservations will be handled by SK (TBD). He is handling room reservations for the motel and the banquet. The cost for the formal banquet is will be $TBD per person. Checks should be made out to Master, Maryland District Fourth Degree. Additional information about Friday's and Saturday's hospitality room will be provided later. We will be looking to determine what kind of food you will bring to share. We expect to open the room at 6pm on Friday.

Annual Flag Day Celebration - Conducted each year on June 14 in Baker Park Memorial Gardens, Frederick, MD. Coordinator: Dirk Griffen. Open to Knights of ALL degrees, family and friends.
