On January 1st a group of our Officers & Members will be participating in the

POLAR PLUNGE

at Revere Beach (in front of the bandstand by Kelly's)

to support the Ahearn Foundation, which serves our veterans and currently deployed military and their families.

On Sunday, January 18th (MLK Holiday weekend) join us for a

Ladies Night Dinner Dance

sponsored by the Lodge PER Association

Only $12.50 per person for stuffed chicken, roasted potatoes, salad, coffee & desert

with dancing 'til midnight by DJ Dennis

All proceeds benefit the Elks National Foundation

Wednesday, January 18th, is

Paint Night

in the Terrace Room at 7:30 PM

$25.00 per person (slightly more if we get less than 30 participants) covers your easel, canvas, paints, apron & professional instruction to bring out your inner artist. Guaranteed to be a fun night but sign up early because seating is limited.

Superbowl Sunday

than here at the Lodge for the best Superbowl Bash on the North Shore?

Festivities start at Noon and continue through the 4th quarter, get here early to get a good seat

Nomination of Officers for the coming Lodge year will take place at our February 3rd meeting with elections at our February 17th meeting. Ever consider running for a chair in the Lodge or accepting an appointed position for one year? talk to any officer for details.

Nestled between an upscale residential neighborhood and Breakheart Reservation, the Saugus-Everett Lodge of Elks #642 currently has over 700 members.

.

Member amenities include a spacious lounge, complete with a pool table, dart board, multiple high definition TVs, an electronic multi-game entertainment center, a state of the art satellite Jukebox, an ATM machine, Mass Lottery & Keno and internet access (the entire facility is WIFI compatible for your personal laptop). The lounge has recently been upgraded with a new tile floor, new lighting, ceiling fans, new pub height tables and stools and a fresh coat of paint. And check out our display case in the lounge for an assortment of Lodge sportswear.

Seasonal benefits of membership also include a full size bocce court, 2 regulation horseshoe pits, outdoor seating at umbrella tables on our lighted patio and access to charcoal & gas barbecue grills.

Our main function hall, the Parkview Room, can accomodate any function from a large wedding to an intimate birthday party. There is also a smaller function hall, the Terrace Room, located on the main lounge floor. Staffed Coat Checking is available in the colder months for both rooms with a self serve Coat Room available the rest of the year.

For summer outings, our picnic grove comes with numerous picnic tables, it's own enclosed bar, seperate rest rooms and a covered pavillion for inclement weather.

A state of the art fire alarm and sprinkler system protects our newly renovated Parkview and Terrace rooms as well as a video surveillance system and an elevator has been installed for easier 2nd floor access. Both halls are now available for rentals (at a discounted rate for members).
