Thank You Corvette Club
The financial assistance we
provide to you is possible only because of the generosity of our dear friends
from the Free State Corvette Club. We look forward to thanking them in person
at our Christmas party.

If you would like to be
reimbursed for 2009 medical expenses, you can turn in your paperwork at the
November 8 general meeting. We will process your claim quickly.
There are two important points.
1.
This should be no
surprise, but the medical expenses must be related to Spina bifida (such as a
wheelchair; leg braces; expenses related to orthopedics or neurology;
catheters; etc.).
2.
Give us your
original bills & receipts, not photocopies.
If you want to retain copies for your own records, be sure to copy them
before you come to the meeting because we do not have a copy machine at the
meeting.
·
For small items
such as diapers, the cash register tape is sufficient.
·
If the item is a
prescription, bring the "pharmacy slip," not the cash register
receipt. The "pharmacy slip" shows the name of the patient and
medication.
·
For larger bills
(over $50), bring the cancelled check if you paid by check or the credit card
statement if you charged it.
We
realize many banks have discontinued sending cancelled checks to customers. If
your bank does not give you cancelled checks, bring whatever document they give
you. Most banks allow you to go online and view cashed checks. Print the online
image and it will suffice as proof of payment.
If
you use your credit card statement as proof of payment, feel free to black-out
your account number. We keep your
documents secure and confidential, but we realize some of you will feel better
if you remove your account number. That's not a problem.
Budget for 2010
We will present the 2010
budget for your vote at a general membership early next year. If you have an
item you would like us to consider for the budget, please come to the November
8th meeting so you can tell us about it. If you are unable to attend that
meeting, you can email your idea to Dan Palich - Palich@Comcast.net.
If you have ideas, you should
let us know about them before we develop the budget and present it early next
year. We will be glad to accept your ideas, but we cannot do that unless we
have them in time to work them into the budget. We can accept your ideas any
time between now and the end of 2009. However, do not wait until the day we vote
on the budget because that is too late. We will not accept new items on the day
we vote on the budget.
