Question: How big is the ParkBench Sandbox?

Answer: The ParkBench Sandbox is approximately 5'x5' when closed and
5' x 6 1/2' when fully opened.

Question: How much would it cost to build the sandbox?

Answer: The cost will vary depending on your choice of materials and the
current price of lumber in your area. The dimensional lumber you will need
consist of:

1- 2" x 10" x 8'

2- 2" x 12" x 10'

7- 5/4" x 6" x 10' decking

Question: I would like to build your ParkBench Sandbox, however, I have
very little woodworking skills. What are my chances?

Answer: The Sandbox Plans are 15 pages of extremely detailed

step by step, instructions designed specifically to allow a person
with minimum woodworking experience to succeed. They are filled
with detailed isometric drawings and helpful hints to assist you
through the project.

Question: How much sand does the box hold?

Answer: The Sandbox will hold a little under 1 yard of sand. That would be
equivalent to around 20-25 50 lb bags of playsand.
