Steven was born and raised in New Jersey, where he spent many years on the NY/NJ club and college circuit. He spent five years with a NJ based band called Bittersweet, who went on to become Nashville RCA recording artists Baillie and the Boys.

He also sang background vocals on some NY sessions, and played guitar on a few nationally advertised jingles with some of New York's top session players.

Steve moved to New Hampshire in 1978, and formed the popular local group Bosco, performing at many top entertainment spots in the New Hampshire area.

Steve plays electric, 6 and 12 string acoustic guitars, bass guitar, mandolin, lead and harmony vocals.
