One of the most recognized locations world wide is Niagara Falls. With two falls (The Canadian and The American) dropping tons of water each day over impressive 30 meter plus drops the falls are a symbol of beauty and nature. They are also awe inspiring and if ones not careful nature at her worst. The falls were shaped by Glaciers during the last ice age. Each day water drops over 100 yards down into the Niagara river gorge taking water to Lake Ontereo and then the Atlantic. Here are just some of my pictures from the falls. The falls are said to be one of the natural wonders of the world (along with the Grand Canyon, the Great Barrier Reef, Krakatoa, Mt Fugi, and Mt. Everest to name a few.) For more information on the falls and the area, please see my page on the Niagara region. I hope you enjoy.
