High Sierra Pass

These pictures are from around a place called Floriston in the Sierra Nevada in between Truckee and Reno on interstate 80. As far as I can figure out, this is Floriston because the road goes nowhere. I took these pictures because I liked the rock formations and the contrast they have to the granite of the Sierra’s. Though the Truckee river cuts through here, the formations were most likely formed by the glaciers that shaped most of the sierra’s.
