I have a theory. That people from Washington are trying to take over the world. We have Bill Gates and Starbucks. Amazon.com and Costco (The Kirkland Signature brand is named after the town in Washington where there head quarters is). Washington Mutual has been busy buying up S and L's. What I want to know is why. Why are these washington companies trying to leave their state. After all, their state is one of the most attractive, scenic and unmolested states in the union.
  Washington is located in a temperate rain forest, the area has lush pine forests with all sorts of rugged plant life growing. There wild life is exceptional and the mountains are breathtaking. And despite what people say, it does not rain all the time. Only when I visit! I have assembled some pictures from various trips into the State. I currently have three (well four) galleries. The first is the San Juan Islands which are a chain of islands located in the Heart of the Puget sound.(They are a little bit south of where I labeled the map) I also have some pictures of the sound from a cove near Seattle. Lastly, I have pictures of Mount Rainier. I have broken these photographs into two parts, one part from the south western approach and another from near the summit. I will be adding some pictures from Seattle later on.
