These photos were taking when I was camping on the floor of Yosemite Valley. It was in the fall and we spent two of the most beautiful days I have ever spent in the Sierra there. These pictures are from that trip, most of them are from when we hiked up the side of Half-dome to Nevada Falls.
All the photos were taken with a Cannon F-1 camera with a Vivitar 28-85mm telephoto lens. I used Kodak 200 gold film. All photos were taken outdoors in Natural light.

This picture is taken from the top of Nevada Falls. You can
see the falls as well as the trail we came up to the lower right. The big
"mountain" in front of you is the side of Half Dome.

Not much of a narrative, I took this shot hiking up. I just like the
composition of the picture.

The joys of car camping. Here is a picture of our campsite. Not much
to see, but I thought this was also a nice photo of Shayla(left) and Kelly(right)

![]() "Clear Lake" |
I forget the name of this lake(but I am working on finding out), all
I can say is it was extremely beautiful and peaceful. It is also extremely clear.
I once was back packing and wanted to go swimming in a lake this clear and my scout master
stopped me because to be that clear bent it had to be to cold for Protista to live in.
Well I went swimming in this lake and yes it was very cold.

![]() "Which way do we go?" |
Here is a shot of Phill and Kelly trying to figure out where
we are going to go for a day hike. Well as the rest of these photos will tell, they picked
one of the more scenic trails to go on.
