Kira and her sister Keiko came to live with Molly & Will on Thursday, May 13, 2004, when they were seven-weeks-old. Kira has distinctive white nose markings and is people-oriented. Kira lost her favorite companion and littermate when Keiko died. Kira is very attached to Dale, and for a while was very attached to Keegan. Kira suffered from a damaged hip, that had to be surgically repaired, and for a while showed signs of pica (uncontrolled eating of in appropriate substances), but now that she is living in an apartment with Molly & Will & Dale, and is the only cat, she is thriving. She's very curious and interactive.
