Mrs. Coselmon has been a great blessing in our lives. She has been there for our son when he needed some extra help. Her style of teaching is not by trying to fit everyone in the same box but by understanding the individual needs of every child and meeting those needs. The child is the most important aspect of the class. She encourages parent involvement for the success of the child. In our case we worked together to find what would be the formula for success in our son. When a child receives encouragement and feels success in their work they continue to improve. Mrs. Coselmon was the High School Director at Grandview Christian School for three years. Under her supervision the high school students began publishing a monthly newspaper and an annual yearbook. She also set up community service projects for our students to earn credit towards their diplomas.

Being very creative, Mrs. Coselmon encourages her students to develop their creative talents. Her knowledge of the Bible is profound, and she has the ability to excel in leading students to an outstanding knowledge of the life in the world with Christ.

Yvonne Coselmon has taught my son, Robert for the past year. She has proven herself to be a teacher who cares about her students academic progress, as well as the spiritual character. I observed Mrs. Coselmon's class for college hours. I was also a colleague of Yvonne while we were on the staff at Olathe Christian School. I spent many hours listening in on her classroom. Yvonne Coselmon has an excellent presentation of her curriculum. Her classroom is very structured yet she makes learning fun for the kids. She includes auditory, visual, and kinesthetic to teach to the many types of learners. She monitors students participation and progress continually, and always sets high goals for her students to achieve.
