Scholar Prep is the MINISTRY and PASSION of Rev. Yvonne Coselmon. She is able to
individually tutor, exhort good character and manors of a small class of students as God gives her the light.

• Scholar Prep is a registered Non-accredited Private School with the state of Kansas like most
  privates schools in the Kansas City area. We would be considered conservative in values but not legalistic in ideas.
• Tuition is low compared to other schools that have an instructor for each student
• Class size will be limited to about 15 students 1st - 12th grade
• Each student will get personal attention from a very gifted, highly recommended, and experienced instructor (Yvonne)
• Each student will learn to read sheet music and be taught to play an instrument three times a week.
• Each student will learn spanish and sign language.
• Class is 9am to 3pm on scheduled school days.
• Hands on work centers.
• Priorities for Scholar Prep include Computer, Year Book Publication, Spanish and Physical Education.
• All policies, dress codes and conduct will be dealt with individually as Mrs. Coselmon sees fit.

A note from Pastor Gary Coselmon: This school is so awesome! I would like you to know this school is FUN. With
field trips, science projects, a private library with well over 700 books, hands on work centers with practical
application of each lesson in a secure environment. All this is done in a 6 hour day accomplishing, YES, all
requirements for the students in a year's time. So much more is done than just that. Each student is tranformed
(to many a parent's amazement) to who they really are. The record shows how the alumni know that this teacher really
cared about them as a person and for years later they, and their relatives, want others know what she did for them. Yvonne
has observed at other schools how time is wasted and filled for various reasons. Scholar Prep students are not "pushed off"
in passive ways with work books, study halls, online learning, videos and just "time filler" functions. Parents can trust, that
their kids are not losing opportunity for learning. This school is a very nice classic "one room school house" in style, and it
has several rooms that this small class utilizes. Our students are not in a crammed in windowless space or in an over loaded
classroom. Each student really gets toolage to excel. Not just instrution and data is presented to the student. They
exprience a gifted teacher who adjusts to the need of each child's skills. A gifted and successful teacher who will not move
on untill the student learns each lesson.
