The recommendations should explain how you would change the procedure of the experiment to make the data and results more thorough.

• THOROUGH means that you identify and explain new or additional:
  • questions that are raised by the results of your experiment
  • independent variables that may be tested
  • hypotheses that may be tested
  • problems or questions about your science project topic

example: To make the experiment more thorough I would test to see if the taller bean plants produced by ACME fertilizer produce more beans per square foot than the shorter bean plants produced by the Generic fertilizer.
