Last Update of this file:  8 Mar 2003.

Generation 4

2.  HENRY LEECH (JOHN3, JOHN2, DAVID1, UNKNOWN0) was born June 02, 1794, probably in Spartanburg County, SC, and died January 29, 1849 in (Rowletts) Hart Co. Ky. 55y 7m 26 d. He married ELIZABETH WILHELM October 23, 1823 in Barren Co. KY. She was born October 07, 1807 in KY, and died May 05, 1877 (again, Rowletts, Hart Co., KY).  Both are buried in the Leech Cemetery, near Rowletts, KY.

ELIZABETH WILHELM might be the daughter of GEORGE WILLHELM, who appears on page 57 (microfilm page 34), line 5, of the 1810 Census of Barren County, KY.  GEORGE WILLHELM is 16-26 years old (almost certainly in his mid-20s), as is his wife (he married ELIZABETH HOWDESHELT,  16 Feb 1804, Barren County, KY), they have 1 male under 10, 1 male 10 to 16, and 3 females under 10 in their household.
