NATHAN TURPIN LEECH is the grandson of JOHN LEECH and ELEANOR McHENRY .
NATHAN TURPIN LEECH is the son of JOSEPH LEECH and CELIA TURPIN.

30.  NATHAN TURPIN LEECH (JOSEPH4, JOHN3, JOHN2, DAVID1, UNKNOWN0)  was born August 06, 1826 in Hart Co. Ky, and died February 27, 1908 in Union Township, Hardin Co. Iowa.  Buried Sheppard Cemetery. He married JUDITH or JUDA MARTIN ("JUDY")   Abt. 1845 in Hart Co. Kentucky, daughter of ISAAC MARTIN and MARTHA (PATSY) MARTIN. She was born May 01, 1814 in Hart Co. Ky, and died January 07, 1895 in Hardin Co. Iowa, buried Sheppard Cemetery.  The MARTINs were from Halifax County, VA.

Sheppard Cemetery: N.W. of Union, Union Township, Hardin County, Iowa.

117. vi. CELIA CATHERINE LEECH ("Kate") , b. August 25, 1856, Hart Co. Kentucky.
118. vii. JANE ALICE LEECH , b. Dec 1862.

112.  SARAH ELIZABETH LEECH ("BETSEY LEECH") (NATHAN TURPIN5, JOSEPH4, JOHN3, JOHN2, DAVID1, UNKNOWN0) was born January 28, 1846 in Hart Co. Ky, and died 1916, buried in Union, Hardin Co. Iowa Sheppard Cem (b/1/5).. She married JOHN M. COX April 10, 1870 in Hardin Co.Iowa., son of ENOCH COX and SALLY COX. He was born May 02, 1837 in Virginia, and died 1909 in Union, Hardin Co. Iowa.  Buried Sheppard Cemetery (also b/1/5).

Notes for JOHN M. COX:

Came to Henry Co. Iowa in 1857 with Sam Burcham for 1 year
Then went to Marshall Co. Iowa.
In the Spring of 1861 came to Union Township in Hardin County.
August 1861 John enlisted at Eldora, Iowa was put in Co F 32nd Iowa Inf.
At one time he had a farm near Macy, Hardin County, Iowa
In 1888 he bought part of Section 9 in Union Twp.

v. GEORGE A. COX, b. November 08, 1878, Hardin Co. Iowa.; m. MINNIE E. McNALL, daughter of GEORGE A. McNALL and MARY E. GRAFF; MINNIE McNALL was born in  Nebraska, in September or October 1879,  and died before 1920.  Found in 1930.
