An image of Seth that has to be seen to be believed. Seth Cohen's Personal Page (updated 6/15/99)

If you didn't notice that the image above is a link, you can skip immediately to one of my pages of photos: (1) (2) (Halloween) (4) (5) (6) (7) (8) (cats!)
Photos can also be found on the AZO webpage and on the ASP webpage, the Murgatroid Page and possibly with the CIA. I haven't checked.

My various MIB pages have been relocated to http://www.sjgames.com/~seth/mib.html

FYI, I occasionally ego-surf for my name. Here's all the Seth Cohen's I'm _not_:

Not the Seth Cohen who ate jalapeno cheese poppers in Arizona
Not the Seth Cohen who's a high school student on *his* yearbook staff
Not the Seth Cohen who's a medical student (got to meet him; boy do I feel keen!)
Not the Seth Cohen who's a law student
Not the Seth Cohen who's a professional Web designer
Not the Seth Cohen who's a Silicon Graphics employee
Not the Seth Cohen who's a award-winning swimmer
Not the Seth Cohen who's in the military
Not the Seth Cohen who's a MIT student
Not the Seth Cohen who's a microbiologist and homebrewer of beer
Not the Seth Cohen who's a sound engineer
Not the Seth Cohen who's a car buff
Not the Seth Cohen who's guitarist and lead singer for a band called "Number One Cup"
Not the Seth Cohen who's an astronomer
Not the Seth Cohen who's a Jew for Jesus (thankfully!)
Not the Seth Cohen who's a bodybuilder
Not the Seth Cohen who's a rugby player at Brandeis
Not the Seth Cohen who's a Shakespearean actor

Although, I admit, most of these people sound pretty damn cool. 8^) I pulled up some of these off of a web search a while ago, and now since I post to something that's archived, *my* name is everywhere...it's hard to find a lot of these folks again. Sheesh.

Stuff I like:

I'm interested in pharmacy and science. If I wasn't, I wouldn't be in school here. Feel free to also check out my professional page. I'm also a fan of science fiction and fantasy fiction...I've tried my hand at writing some, and one of these years I may actually finish something and see if I can get it published. You'll hear about it if that happens. I'll get really loud for quite a while. *grin* I might even put some up on these pages when I get an opportunity, so that there's real content here.

Games:

Link to SJ Games I'm a fan/player/playtester of Illuminati: New World Order. INWO is a Trading Card Game, and it's a fine one, in my humble opinion. I've been judging a weekly contest of homebrew cards for over three years now, and you can check out my separate page for more links (especially links of stuff I support.)

In 1998 I attended JohnCon, held at Johns Hopkins University's Homewood Campus, Balticon 32, and also ran half of gaming at Worldcon '98, all held here in Baltimore. I made it to a new convention, ZonCon, and Evecon'99. I've repeated my appearances at JohnCon and Balticon. I'm not likely to make it to WorldCon this year, as it's in Australia. Boo hoo. JohnCon was especially cool this year, as Steve Jackson himself was Guest of Honor, and we all tried to Kill Evil Stevie. I'm also randomly sampling other local cons as I can make them. (Yes, I wanted to go to Marcon. Couldn't do it. Perhaps I'll make it to Ludus.)

I've got a local page for the Men In Black, the volunteer arm of SJG. In my extensive tenure, I've been promoted from the Baltimore Cell Leader to the North East Regional Director. Quake with fear in my presence. I can't rise any higher; I don't plan to move to Texas. 8^) I run INWO, Dino Hunt and other SJG games at local conventions, and occasionally demonstrate stuff to the uninitiated. SJG's MIB page can be found on their site. If you'd like me to help out at your convention, arrange help for your convention, are interested in working with me at conventions, or do or arrange for a demonstration at your gaming store, email me. If you're interested in the details about Steve Jackson Games Volunteer Program (or the Men In Black), go there instead.

The home of Cheapass Games, strangely enough at www.cheapass.com, is the other company I'm now officially doing demos for. As a Cheapass Demo Monkeys, I run Cheapass Games at the 'cons I'll be at, so get your Cheapass fix by stopping by my table!

I've scanned in a drawing that was given to me several years ago as a birthday present...it's an illustration of Axelrod, a barbarian I was playing at the time in D&D campaigns. That's actually very close to what my face looks like. The rest of it...well, if I were actually 6'8" and had the time to work out the way that Axelrod does, I would look like that. But it's a lot closer than the fingernail caricature Greg did of me, pictured below.

Seth's Profile in Cariacture

I was doing a Play-By-Email campaign of Rolemaster, a RPG system. If you want to check out the page, be my guest. I've also got advertisements my friend Jeff tricked up, for the artistry he offers. He also did a quick drawing of my character, Burr. Please support the starving artist...and his non-starving cats (all 30 pounds of them!) Jeff and I are worked on a story that picks up about 10 years after the characters in the game split up...if Jeff gets back to work on it, we'll try to put some of it up here. One of the other players, Jeff's brother-in-law Kevin, decided to start up another game, so we're now staying out of trouble by doing that... Jeff's working on a drawing of Ssek, my current character in our current PBEM game. Here's the first version; I'll put up the final one when he's finished.

Other Stuff:

For the curious, take a look at my non-business card from 1993. I no longer live there, but even today I am still amused by this piece of cardboard. I wrote a couple new ones for 1997. I updated them for 1998, only to discover that I put the wrong email address on them! D'oh! I've got new ones now, but haven't the time to scan them in. (sigh)

I've been taking Tae Kwon Do since I started class at UMAB. Slowly I learn. One day I may be dangerous. Until then, it's good exercise and it improves my flexibility. In my Copious Spare Time I also mountain bike and swim, as well as write webpages. 8^)

When I first built this page, I thought I could escape having a photo of me around. However, while doing more official stuff, I discovered that the more stuff I did, the more pictures I ended up in. Check out the student organizations webpages for other images of me. Arthur (URL below) thoughtfully took a picture and sent me the gif at the very top of this page (as well as several other useful gifs). Wasn't that nice? That gif at the top of the page is a link to photos that he took of me, as well as a few of my own.

Sites to see:

Saint Dogbert/DNRC link I'm also a member of the DNRC, Dogbert's New Ruling Class. Details can be found on the UnitedMedia Website. You should join, or consider what the rest of your existence will be like if you have to be my personal slave. Heh, heh, heh.

Other goofy/groovy links you should check out: www.callahans.org, www.abs.net/~donovan/cal_pics.html (for Callahanian pictures), www.pythonline.com, www.onastick.com, www.flecktones.com, www.laughingcolors.com, www.neosoft.com/recipes, www.idrink.com, www.weirdal.com, www.sincity.com, www.sluggy.com, www.dreamwizards.com, www.bitsmart.com/shatner, and www.skeleteens.com -- you figure out which is which! Also, feel free to look at my local radio station's page...and you can hear them around the world in RealAudio, should you so choose.

My friends who have webpages are linked below. I’'ll add links here as I get them; you can assume that many of their hobbies are similar to mine. Well, of course not all! What kind of boy do you take me for?
