@American Fork Creek - Rainbow, Brown, Brook Trout, and Walleye call this small Utah County stream home. Stocked with catchable Rainbow. Walleye run up the river to spawn and some remain in the lower stretches of the creek. No access problems. Be prepard to pay upon entering the canyon. Forest Service campgrounds in area. Gets plenty of local pressure.

  • CLOSED east from Utah Lake to I-15 from March 1 through 6 a.m. May 1.

@Anderson Meadow Reservoir - Contains Rainbow and Brook. Travel 18 miles east of Beaver on U-153. Take the Kents Lake Road. Elevation 9,000 feet. Camping nearby. Drinking water, chemical toilets, permanent tables and grills. Trailers permitted.

  • Fishing from a boat with a motor of any kind is PROHIBITED.

@Antimony Creek - Contains Rainbow Trout. Take the dirt road out of the town of Antimony on the bluff above the creek. Best fishing is in the spring shortly after the run-off dies down. Small stream with only primitive camping.

@Asay Creek - Contains Rainbow and Brown Trout. Some private land in lower reaches. Camping nearby.

@Ash Creek Reservoir - Contains no sports fish. Almost dries up each year and can not sustain a population of fish.

@Ashley Creek - Contains Rainbow and Brown Trout. Located in Uintah County.

From Steinaker (Thornburg) diversion to the water treatment plant near the mouth of Ashley Gorge:

  • Trout limit 2

@Aspen-Mirror Lake - Contains Rainbow Trout. This small lake is near Navajo Lake on Cedar Mountain in Kane County.

  • CLOSED January 1 through April 21.
  • Fishing from a boat or a float tube is unlawful.

@Badger Hollow - Located in Wasatch County (Refer to Strawberry Reservoir Tributaries).

@Baker Reservoir - Contains Rainbow and Brown Trout. Located between Central and Veyo. West of St. George, one mile east of U-18 on the Santa Clara River. Small Bureau of Land Management campground. No boat ramp.

@Barker Lake - Contains Brook and Rainbow Trout. Take Highway 12 to Escalante. Go 12 miles north. Camping nearby. No boat ramp.

@Barney Lake - Located in Piute County.

@Basin Creek - Located in the Deep Creek Mountains of Juab County.

@Bear Lake - Contains Lake Trout (Mackinaw), Cutthroat and Rainbow Trout, Bonneville Cisco, Bonneville and Bear Lake Whitefish, and also Perch. Stocked with fingerling Cutthroat. Elevation 5,990 feet. Located in Rich County near Garden City via U.S. 89 and Logan or follow Utah highways 16 and 30 north from Evanston, Wyoming. Road goes north from Laketown around the east shore.

Two state parks, campgrounds, boat ramp, picnic areas, motels, cafes and boat rentals. Lake generally is iced over by mid to late January and is excellent ice fishing for Bear Lake Cutthroat. The Cutthroat average 2 to 3 pounds but can range up to 10 pounds. Bear Lake is an underutilized fishing resource that more Utahns should take advantage of. Both the Angling Record (4lbs. 4oz.) set in 1982, and the Catch-and-Release record (19 1/4") on 12/04/00 for Bonneville Whitefish/Bear Lake Whitefish come from this water. Which makes sense, as this is the only lake in the world that contains these two species.

  • Trout limit 2
  • See INTERSTATE WATERS for license requirements in the Proclamation.
  • A person may not use or possess hooks, single or multipoint, larger than 9/16 inch at the shortest point, between the shank and the point from January 1 through February 15.
  • A person may not possess a multipoint hook with a weight permanently or rigidly attached directly to the shank; or a weight suspended below any hook unless the hook is on an un-weighted dropper line that is at least three inches long.
  • Cutthroat Trout and trout with cutthroat markings with all fins intact must be immediately released. Only Cutthroat Trout that have had one or more healed fins clepped may be kept.
  • Cisco may be taken with a hand-held dip net. Net opening must not exceed 18 inches in any dimension. When dipnetting through the ice, the size of the hole is unrestricted.
  • When ice fishing for fish other than Cisco the size of the hole may not exceed 18 inches.
  • Anglers may keep foul hooked Bonneville Cisco that are taken through normal, legal fishing activities.

Big Spring Creek from Lamborn Diversion (approximately 500 yards below SR-30) and that area extending from its mouth into the lake 2,000 feet, or as buoyed:

  • CLOSED April 15 through 6 a.m. the second Saturday of July (July 12).

Big Spring Creek from Lamborn Diversion (approximately 500 yeards below SR-30) downstream to Bear Lake:

  • CATCH AND RELEASE ONLY AND ARTIFICIAL FLIES AND LURES ONLY (January 1 through April 14 and from 6 a.m. the second Saturday of July (July 12) through December 31). All fish caught must be immediately released.

Swan Creek from the headwater spring downstream to Bear Lake and that area extending from the mouth out into the lake 2,000 feet, or as buoyed:

  • CLOSED April 15 through 6 a.m. the second Saturday of July (July 12).

Swan Creek from the mouth into Bear Lake upstream to the headwaters spring:

  • CATCH AND RELEASE ONLY AND ARTIFICIAL FLIES AND LURES ONLY, CLOSED April 15 through 6 a.m. on the second Saturday of July (July 12).

@Bear River - Contains Rainbow, Cutthroat, Brook Trout. Rocky Mountain Whitefish in Summit County; Brown and Rainbow Trout, Whitefish, Carp and Suckers, in Rich County; Channel Catfish, Walleye, Largemouth Bass, Yellow Perch, Green Sunfish, Whitefish, Black Bullheads, and Crappie, in Cache and Box Elder counties. Runs through Idaho, into Utah near the town of Cornish, south into Cutler Reservoir, southwest to east of Tremonton through Bear River City to the Great Salt Lake. Various facilities are available in the nearby towns. From Corinne to the Great Salt Lake the river is fished heavily for catfish that run up to 30 pounds. Use standard catfish baits and fish right on the bottom. Almost all private ground. Landowners will keep it open as long as the place isn't trashed and respect is shown for the property. Utah's old Catch-and-Release record (34" on 09/19/01) for Carp was released back into this river. It's now held by a 35" taken from Bountiful Pond in 2002.

@Bear River (Uinta Mountains) - Contains Brook and Rainbow Trout. Camping nearby. East side of the Uintas and access is through Wyoming.

@Beaver Creek - Contains Rainbow and Brown Trout. Access out of the towns of Peoa and Kamas on SR 150. Beautiful small stream that contains some nice fish. Practice catch and release here.

@Beaver Dam Reservoir (Bench's Pond) Tributaries - Located in Sanpete County.

  • CLOSED January 1 through 6 a.m. on the second Saturday of July (July 12).

@Beaver River - Contains Rainbow and Brown Trout. Located in Beaver County. There are two stretches that contain large numbers of fish. One is above the town of Beaver along Highway 153 and the other is west of Beaver below Minersville Reservoir. The river has good numbers of fish from the reservoir all the way into the town of Minersville.

  • CLOSED January 1 through 6 a.m. on the second Saturday of July (July 12) from Minersville Reservoir upstream to bridge at Greenville.

@Beer Creek - Located in Utah County. Contains Walleye.

  • Benjamin Slough, east from Utah Lake to I-15 CLOSED March 1 through 6 a.m. May 1.

@Bench's Pond Tributaries - Contains Rainbow Trout. Located in Sanpete County.

  • CLOSED January 1 through 6 a.m. on the second Saturday of July (July 12).

@Bicknell Bottoms - Located in Wayne County on the Fremont River. This once historically great fishery is making a come back after past flooding, and silt problems.

  • OPEN to fishing, except when posted CLOSED.

@Big Cottonwood Creek - Contains Rainbow, Brook and Brown Trout. Stocked with catchable Rainbow. No access problems. Camping in area.

@Big Dog Lake - Located on the south slope of the Uintas. Home of the state angling record (1lb. 2oz. in 1998) for Artic Grayling.

@Big Elk Lake - Contains Brook and Rainbow Trout. Rough roads to within a few miles of lake; primitive camping.

@Big Sand Wash Reservoir - Contains Rainbow and Brown Trout. Stocked with fingerling Rainbows. Lots of crayfish. Elevation is 5,900 feet. Located northeast of Duchesne. Take Highway 40 ten miles east of Duchesne, turn north through Brideland, go about 12 miles to the reservoir or take Highway 87 north of Duchesne about 34 miles. This reservoir can be real fast fishing at times and generally is a good place to take the kids. Has dirt boat ramp and primitive camping.

@Big Spring Creek - Contains Cutthrout Trout. Tributary to Bear Lake located in Rich County.

From Lamborn Diversion, approximately 500 yards below SR-30, and that area extending from its mouth in the lake 2,000 feet, or as buoyed:

  • CLOSED April 15 through 6:00 a.m. on the second Saturday of July (July 12).

Big Spring Creek from Lamborn Diversion (approximately 500 yards below SR-30) downstream to Bear Lake:

  • CATCH AND RELEASE ONLY and ARTIFICIAL LURES AND FLIES ONLY (January 1 through April 14 and from 6 a.m. the second Saturday of July (July 12) through December 31). All fish caught must be immediately released.

@Birch Creek - Located in the Deep Creek Mountains of Juab County.

@Birch Creek Reservoir - Contains Rainbow and Cutthroat Trout. Elevation is 7,000 feet. Located about 60 miles east of Ogden on U-39 and 10 miles west of Woodruff. BLM campground. No boat launching facilities.

@Black Fork - Contains Brook, Rainbow Trout. East side of Uintas. Access through Wyoming.

@Blacksmith Fork River - Contains Brook, Cutthroat, Brown, Rainbow Trout; Whitefish. Take U-101 east of Hyrum (south of Logan) up Blacksmith Fork canyon. Forest Service campgrounds. Some access problems, mostly private land. Don't trash the place! Ask permission.

@Blanding Reservoir #3 and #4 - Contains Rainbow Trout. Located in San Juan County. Stocked with catchables each spring. By mid-summer fishing slows down and doesn't become good again until fall.

  • Fishing from boats, except float tubes, is PROHIBITED.

@Blind Lake - Contains Brook Trout, Splake. Access on about 10 miles of dirt road (very rough) and then 1 1/2 mile hike off of Highway 12 in the Boulder Mountains. State record splake was caught here in 1988.

@Blue Lake - Contains Largemouth Bass. U.S. 40 (I-80) west to Wendover, Alt. 93 into Nevada until south of the military reservation (about 20 miles) then east on unpaved road to Salt Springs and Blue lake.

@Blue Spruce Lake - Contains Brook and Rainbow Trout. Access off of Highway 12 in the Boulder Mountains. Access by hiking in.

@Bonnie Lake - Located in the Duchesne River drainage.

  • Fishing from a boat with a motor of any kind is PROHIBITIED.

@Boulder Mountain Streams and Lakes - Located in Wayne and Garfield Counties. Holds both the angling record (7lbs. 8oz. in 1971) and the Catch-and-Release record (23" on 12/06/97) for the Brook Trout.

Creel Limits: Including the Dixie National Forest; Teasdale and Escalante Ranger Districts; general locations known as the North Boulder Slope, East Boulder Slope, South Boulder Slope, Griffin Top, Boulder Top, Escalante Mountain; EXCEPT Pine Lake, Wide Hollow Reservoir and Lower Bowns Reservoir in Garfield County where statewide rules apply, and EXCEPT Dougherty Basin in Garfield County, where separate specific rules apply:

  • Trout limit 4
  • Only 2 trout over 14 inches.
  • Bonus limit of 4 brook trout (total limit of no more than 8 trout if at least 4 are brook trout)

Seasonal Restrictions: All Boulder Mountain lakes, ponds, and reservoirs, EXCEPT Barker Reservoir, Garkane East Fork Impoundment, Garkane Main Impoundment, Lower Barker Reservoir, Lower Bowns Reservoir, North Creek Reservoir, Pine Lake, Posey Lake, Oak Creek Reservoir and Wide Hollow Reservoir (all in Garfield County); and Blind Lake, Coleman Reservoir, Cook Lake, Donkey Reservoir, Miller Lake and Pine Creek Reservoir (all in Wayne County), which are open year-round:

  • CLOSED January 1 through April 21 and November 1 through December 31.

Boating Restrictions: North Boulder Slope, East Boulder Slope, South Boulder Top, Griffin Top, and Escalante Mountain; EXCEPT Pine Lake, Wide Hollow Reservoir and Lower Bowns Reservoir in Garfield County:

  • Fishing from a boat with a motor of any kind is PROHIBITED.

@Bottle Hollow Reservoir - Contains Trout and Catfish. On Ute tribal lands.

  • Requires a special fishing license to fish on Indian lands that can be obtained at Bottle Hollow.

@Boulger Reservoir Tributaries - Located in Sanpete County.

  • CLOSED January 1 through 6 a.m. on the second Saturday of July (July 12).
  • Trout limit 2, when open.

@Bountiful Lake - Located in Bountiful on I-15, take the 400 north exit (Hwy 131) west, turn north on 800 west, turn west on pages lane (appr. 1600 north). Follow pages lane to Property. Fish species present; Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Black Bullheads, Channel Catfish, Walleye, Yellow Perch, White Bass, Rainbow Trout, and Carp. This 50 acre pond is the newest recognized urban fishing hotspot. It has a wide variety of fish and great access for anglers. In the fall of 2002 there was 5000 catchable rainbow trout stocked and fishing is currently hot and will only get better. Holds the Catch-and-Release record (35" on 08/02/02) for Carp.

  • Limit 4 fish (Daily bag and possession limit is a total of 4 fish in the aggregate for all species, for example: 1 trout, 2 channel catfish and 1 bluegill.)

@Bowns Reservoir, Lower - Contains Rainbow Trout. Stocked with fingerlings. No boat ramp, no camping. Fishing is generally good and pressure is light.

@Brush Creek - Contains Rainbow, Brook and Brown Trout. Excellent small stream. Access out of Vernal on south slope of Uinta Mountains.

@Broad Hollow - Located in Wasatch County (Refer to Strawberry Reservoir Tributaries).

@Brough Reservoir - Contains Rainbow Trout and Smallmouth Bass. Stocked with fingerling Rainbow. Elevation is 5,000 feet. Follow Highway 40 east of Roosevelt (west of Vernal) to Highway 88 turnoff. Go 4 1/2 miles south on Highway 88, reservoir is 1/2 mile west of the road. No facilities. This lake contains some good sized Rainbows and can be fast fishing.

  • ARTIFICIAL FLIES AND LURES ONLY

@Brown Duck Basin - Located in the Uinta Mountains of Duchesne County.

All streams in the Brown Duck Basin and the outlet of Clemments Reservoir to its confluence with Lake Fork Creek:

  • CLOSED Januray 1 through 6 a.m. on the second Saturday of July (July 12).

@Brown Lake - Contains Cutthroat Trout. Access by 7 mile hike on the Brown Duck Trail from Moon Lake camprground. 10,186 feet elevation. Receives heavy fishing pressure.

@Browne Lake - Contains Rainbow and Brook Trout. Stocked with catchable Rainbow and fingerling Brook Trout. Has a boat ramp. No access problems. While at the lake fish Carter Creek. It contains Rainbow, Cutthroat and Brook trout. It is best late in the summer.

@Bryant's Fork - Located in Wasatch County (Refer to Strawberry Reservoir Tributaries).

@Bud Lake - Located in the Duchesne River Drainage.

  • Fishing from a boat with a motor of any kind is PROHIBITED.

@Bullock Reservoir - Contains Rainbow Trout and Largemouth Bass. Elevation is 5,200 feet. Follow Highway 40 east of Roosevelt about one mile past Bottle Hollow, turn north and follow the road about 4 miles. No facilities. Crayfish are abundant.

  • Tiger muskie limit: 1, all tiger muskies less than 40 inches must be immediately released.
  • Unlawful to use whole fish or amphibians, including water dogs, for bait. Cut bait must not be larger than one inch in any dimension and no more than one piece per hook.

@Burraston Ponds - Contains Rainbow and Brook trout. Stocked with catchable Rainbow. Located west of Mona (north of Nephi) at the south end of Mona Reservoir. Limited number of camping turnouts. Receives heavy pressure.

  • Fishing from a boat with a motor of any kind is PROHIBITED.

@Butterfly Lake - Located in Duchesne County, along Mirror Lake Highway SR-150.

  • Fishing from a boat with a motor of any kind is PROHIBITED.

@Calder Reservoir - Contains Rainbow Trout. Elevation 7,100 feet. Located in Uintah County. Take Highway 44 about 20 miles north of Vernal to Diamond Mountain Road. Take this graded road about 18 miles east.

@Canyon View Park Pond - Located in Utah County.

  • Limit 4 fish (Daily bag and possession limit is a total of 4 fish in the aggregate for all species, for example: 1 trout, 2 channel catfish and 1 bluegill.)

@Carter Creek - Contains Rainbow, Cutthroat and Brook trout. It is best late in the summer.

@Causey Reservoir - Contains Rainbow, Cutthroat, Brown Trout, and Kokanee Salmon. Stocked with fingerlings. Located in Weber County. Limited boat access, car toppers only. No boat ramp, no camping.

  • CLOSED to the possession of Kokanee Salmon with any red color from August 15 through September 29.

@Causey Reservoir Tributaries - Contains Rainbow, Cutthroat, Brown Trout, and Kokanee Salmon. Located in Weber County.

Wheat Grass Creek, including Dry Bread and Bear Hollow:

  • CLOSED January 1 through 6 a.m. on the second Saturday of July (July 12).
  • CLOSED August 15 through September 29.

Right and left forks of South Fork Ogden River:

  • Trout and salmon limit 2.
  • ARTIFICIAL FLIES AND LURES ONLY
  • CLOSED August 15 through September 29.

@Chalk Creek - Contains Rainbow, Brown Trout. Mostly all private land and managed by fishing clubs. Almost no access.

@Chicken Creek - Located in Wasatch County (Refer to Strawberry Reservoir Tributaries).

@Chipman Creek - Located in Wasatch County (Refer to Strawberry Reservoir Tributaries).

@Cleveland Reservoir - Contains Rainbow Trout. Elevation 8,800 feet. Take U-10 south of Price, then go west from Huntington along U-31, or east from Fairview on U-31. No boat ramp. Primitive camping. Stocked with catchable trout.

@Clyde Creek - Located in Wasatch County (Refer to Strawberry Reservoir Tributaries).

@CO-OP Creek - Located in Wasatch County (Refer to Strawberry Reservoir Tributaries).

@Coal Canyon - Located in Wasatch County (Refer to Strawberry Reservoir Tributaries).

@Colorado River - Channel Catfish, Carp, Northern Pike, threatened and endangered species are also found here. Access is available at various spots from Highway 128 north of Moab and Highway 279 south of Moab. Various facilities are available in the area.

  • Channel Catfish limit: 24

  • Northern Pike limit: 12

  • Species of threatened and endangered fish occur in the Colorado. See Section III.C. Prohibited Fish in the Proclamation.

@Corn Creek - Contains Brown and Rainbow Trout. Located just southeast of Kanosh.

@Cottonwood Creek - Contains few if any fish. Water flow is too seasonal, and muddy.

@Cottonwood Reservoir - Contains Rainbow Trout and Largemouth Bass. Located in Uintah County. Stocking of trout has been discontinued. Now managed as a bass fishery. No boat ramp or camping.

  • Bass limit 6, only 1 may be over 12 inches.
  • Tiger muskie limit: 1, all tiger muskies less than 40 inches must be immediately released.
  • Unlawful to use whole fish or amphibians, including water dogs, for bait. Cut bait must not be larger than one inch in any dimension and no more than one piece per hook.

@Cow Hollow - Located in Wasatch County (Refer to Strawberry Reservoir Tributaries).

@Crandall Creek - Located in Emery County.

  • CLOSED from the culvert at the end of Crandall Canyon Road, at Genwall Mine, upstream to headwaters.

@Crouse Reservoir - Contains Rainbow Trout. Located in Uintah County. Elevation is 7,100 feet. Take Highway 44 about 20 miles north of Vernal to Diamond Mountain Road. Take this graded road east about 20 miles. Calder Reservoir is about 1.5 miles west of this water. No boat ramp. No camping.

@Currant Creek - Contains Brown, Cutthroat and Rainbow Trout. Located in Wasatch County. Camping in area.

From Water Hollow Creek upstream to the headwaters, including all tributaries to Currant Creek Reservoir, but not the reservoir itself:

  • Trout limit 2
  • ARTIFICIAL FLIES AND LURES ONLY

@Currant Creek Reservoir - Contains Rainbow and Cutthroat Trout. Stocked with fingerling cutthroat trout. Has a boat ramp. Camping in area. Receives heavy pressure. Stocking recently changed from Rainbow to Cutthroat.

@Cutler Reservoir - Contains Largemouth Bass, Bullhead, Crappie and Perch. Access on Highway 23 between Newton and Junction. Utah's angling record (3lbs. 4oz. in 1999) for a Bullhead Catfish was caught here.

@Daniels Creek - Contains Rainbow and Cutthroat Trout. Stocked with catchable Rainbow. 10% private land. Camping limited to turnouts near highway.

@Deer Creek Reservoir - Contains Rainbow, Brown and Cutthroat Trout, Yellow Perch, Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, and Whitefish. Stocked with subcatchable rainbow. Located in Wasatch County. Elevation is 5,500 feet. Five miles southwest of Heber City via U.S. 189 or northeast of Orem through Provo Canyon (U.S. 189). State park, boat ramp, campgrounds, boat rentals, paved parking areas, showers, sewage dump, fish cleaning stations. This is a heavily used water with lots of water skiing and sailboat use. Best to fish early or late in the summer to avoid the traffic. Popular for ice fishing for Perch during the winter. The state record Mountain Whitefish (4lbs. 19oz.) was caught here in 1997. It held the Catch-and-Release record (20 1/2" on 04/22/01) for Smallmouth Bass until 2002, when Jordanelle Reservoir coughed up a 21 1/2" Smallmouth Bass.

  • Walleye limit 6, but only 1 (one) over 20 inches.
  • Bass limit 6. All bass over 12 inches must be immediately released.
  • Yellow Perch limit 10. All Yellow Perch caught must be kept from January 1 through April 30.

@Deer Creek Reservoir - Contains Rainbow and Brook Trout. Access off of Highway 12 in the Boulder Mountains. Requires a short hike off the road. Camping in the area.

@Deer Valley Lakes - Located in Wasatch County.

  • ARTIFICIAL FLIES AND LURES ONLY
  • January 1 through September 30, CATCH AND RELEASE ONLY.
  • October 1 through December 31, trout limit: 2 under 16 inches.

@Diamond Fork Creek - Contains Brown, Rainbow and Cuttroat Trout. Stocked with catchable Brown Trout. Joins the Spanish Fork River just below Thistle on U.S. 6-89. Some private land. Poisoned in 1990, but fishing should be back in shape. Unimproved campgrounds.

From Springville Crossing to the headwaters (including all tributaries):

  • ARTIFICIAL FLIES AND LURES ONLY
  • CLOSED to the possession of Cutthroat Trout or trout with cutthroat markings. All other trout species limit: 4.

@Dirty Devil River - As the name implies, this river is so muddy and flows are so rapid that it contains few fish of any kind.

@DMAD Reservoir - Contains Walleye, Catfish, Bass, Carp. On the Sevier River just north of Delta.

@Dougherty Basin Lake - Located in the Boulder Mountains of Garfield County.

  • Brook Trout limit: 4
  • ARTIFICIAL FLIES AND LURES ONLY.
  • CLOSED January 1 through 6 a.m. the second Saturday of July (July 12).

@Duchesne River - Contains Rainbow, Brown, Cutthroat and Brook Trout; Whitefish. Access via U.S. 40 and U-35 near Duchesne. Mostly private or Indian lands. Camping in the area. North Fork contains Rainbow and Cutthhroat Trout. It is stocked with catchable Rainbow. Heavy spring runoff can be expected.

From White's Crossing located approximately 2 miles upstream from Porterville upstream to the East Canyon Reservoir Dam:

  • CLOSED January 1 through March 30 and November 1 through December 31.

@East Canyon Reservoir - Contains Rainbow and Brown Trout; Kokanee Salmon. Stocked with fingerlings. Located in Morgan County. Elevation is 5,674 feet. Access along U-66 about 10 miles south of Morgan or about 40 miles east and north of Salt Lake City via I-80 (Parley's Canyon) to East Canyon. State park, boat ramp, campground, showers. Popular ice fishing lake when frozen. Shore fishing slows down in the summer-fish early or late for best result from shore. Home of the state's Catch-and-Release record for Rainbow Trout (29" on 12/30/00).

@East Fork Little Bear River And It's Tributaries - Located in Cache County.

Upstream from Porcupine Reservoir:

@East Fork Little Bear River - Located in Cache County.

Porcupine Dam downstream to the Avon-Paradise County Road, second stream crossing below reservoir:

@East Fork Smith's Fork Drainage - Located in Summit County.

@East Park Reservoir - Contains Rainbow and Brook Trout. Stocked with catchable Rainbow and fingerling Brook Trout. Has a boat ramp and camping.

@Echo Canyon Creek - Contains Brown and Rainbow Trout. Access off of I-80. This stream has been altered by the placement of I-80 and consequently contains limited numbers of fish. It also silts up easily.

@Echo Reservoir - Located in Summit County.

  • Minimum bass size 12 inches; all bass less than 12 inches must be immediately released.

@Electric Lake - Contains Cutthroat Trout. Located in Emery County. Elevation near 9,000 feet. Northwest of Huntington or east of Fairview via U-31. Boat ramp. Forest service campgrounds in area. Shoreline access is by walking.

@Electric Lake Tributaries - Contains Cutthroat Trout. Located in Emery and Sanpete Counties.

Streams ONLY, this excludes Boulger Reservoir but includes those streams flowing into Boulger Reservoir:

@Enterprise Ditch - Stoddard Slough located in Morgan County.

@Enterprise Reservoirs - Contains Rainbow Trout. Elevation 5,700 feet. West from Enterprise 8 miles, then south 5 miles to lower reservoir. Forest Service campground nearby, boat ramp, restrooms.

@Enterprise Reservoirs Tributaries - Located in Washington County.

Tributaries to Upper and Lower Reservoirs:

  • CLOSED January 1 through 6 a.m. the second Saturday of July (July 12).

@Escalante River - Contains Rainbow and Brown Trout in upper reaches. Gets muddy as it moves out of the mountains.
