Director's Bio

Scott Minor, founder and director of Developing Stages Scott Minor is originally from California and began his education at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles in 1990. At USC he studied Choral Music Education and Drama for two years. He completed his education at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia and graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Musical Theater.

Scott has performed and directed in 13 states.  In addition to Developing Stages productions, workshops, and summer camps, he has directed with the Old Bisbee Repertory Theater, Hartford Children's Theater, Raton Arts Council, and Missoula Children's Theater.  Scott has performed with Village Productions, The Little Theater of Hayward, The Connecticut Opera, Simsbury Light Opera Company, Raton Arts Council, Hackmatack Playhouse, Garden Grove Community Theater and the Riverton Players.

Growing a Family

Scott is married to Becky, who also graduated from The University of the Arts in 1997.  She is a fabulous artist, animator, sculptor, and writer who is homeschooling their three boys, Riley (2000), Gabriel (2004) and Benjamin (2006). They were married at the First Church of Winsted in October of 1998.
