The goal of Brookline Youth Lacrosse is to promote the sport of lacrosse and provide a fun, positive, and enriching experience for youth and parents of Brookline. All players will be played as equally as possible without regard to physical ability or skill. As was the case last year, we will have regular Sunday afternoon games against teams from towns in the Mass Bay Youth Lacrosse League (MBYLL). The league's goals are very much in line with our's: "There are no standings kept, no league championship or playoffs. We play all players as equally as possible with the goal of teaching the sport and providing a fun experience for all involved. We police ourselves in the effort to provide an outlet for kids that has not been swept up in the pressure filled, win-at-all-cost mania that is too present in today’s youth sports." |
