Megan Dennis creates murals in the community through the Mural Arts Program of Philadelphia and private commissions.  Some are solo and some are joint collaborations between the community, education and artist.  Vast amount of research and visual preparation goes into the design and production of paintings at this scale as they have a life expectancy of 30+ years.   It is important to stay current but also maintain longevity. These projects have permanently changed Megan as a person and artist through the people she meets, the stories she lives, the neighborhoods she has become a part of in creating murals. Every mural tells a story.  Each project has a special theme and message.  Here are a few of my favorite pictures from my favorite projects.
