Steve's Scuba Adventure

This is my little page to chronicle some of my Diving Adventures. My Open Water Certification was in November 1995 and I have been addicted to Scuba Diving ever since. As of May 2009 I have over 1,200 Dives and 800+ hours spent underwater. Along the way I've become a Dive Master and am currently an SSI Dive Control Specialist Instructor (DCSI) as well as a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT).  I've trained over 200 new divers from Open Water up to and including Dive Control Specialist/Dive Master. I've served as the Team Leader for the Harford County Sheriff's Office Scuba Team and served as a member/advisor after my retirement from the Sheriff's Office.

I dive and teach through Underwater Playground located in Harford County, Md. just north of Baltimore. My wife is also certified and while not an avid diver, she allows me to pursue my hobby. My son Brandon was certified at age 12 and has been diving with me for the last 8 years and has accumulated over 140 dives.
