The Escort
a Sonny & Brenda story
Chapter 3
Sonny was stunned by the gorgeous woman standing in front of him. He was no stranger to beautiful women, but they usually didn't affect him past the point of normal lust. But this one literally took away his ability to breathe. Brenda was having trouble breathing as well. She was still petrified, but was also shaken by how handsome her "client" was. She'd never seen anyone like him. They stood staring at each other for a few moments, and then Sonny finally spoke. "What's your name?" Her response was so quiet, he couldn't make out what she said, and had to ask, "come again?" Brenda spoke up, "Brenda." Sonny smiled, flashing his dimples which caused Brenda's heart to skip a beat. "Hello Brenda. I'm Sonny Corinthos." He extended his hand, which Brenda took. It was warm and somehow comforting. "Come sit down," Sonny said, leading her over the couch. Brenda was grateful; her legs felt like they'd give out at any moment. Sonny sensed her anxiety; it wasn't exactly subtle. He studied her face again as they sat. She had the most beautiful eyes he'd ever seen. He could see the pain she carried in them, and immediately felt that they had a lot of that in common. Still holding her hand, Sonny spoke again, "you're amazingly beautiful Brenda." "Thank you," Brenda whispered in reply. Then she surprised Sonny by adding, "you're beautiful yourself." Sonny laughed. "I've been called a lot of things, but beautiful's not one of them!" Brenda couldn't help but smile; "but you are." Sonny's fingers rubbed her hand as he held it. He wanted nothing more than to pick up this woman, carry her to his bed, and ravish her all night. But something told him not to; to put aside what he wanted, and to take care of her. He'd never felt that before with a woman never.
"Would you like a drink?" he asked, still staring into her eyes. "Yes please," Brenda replied, hoping a drink would help her get through this. Not that the thought of having sex with this gorgeous man was that unappealing. But the whole concept of why she was there with him was. Sonny reluctantly let go of her hand, and reached for the champagne. He opened it, and poured them each a glass. After handing Brenda hers, he made a toast. "To a memorable evening." Brenda, not knowing what his idea of a memorable evening entailed, reluctantly clinked her glass with his. They drank in silence, and then Sonny took her empty glass from her hand and placed it on the coffee table along with his. He touched her face, and couldn't help but stare at her lips. Brenda started to panic, and Sonny picked up on it right away. He took his hand away, and said, "I'm not going to hurt you Brenda." Brenda looked at the ground, "I know." Sonny put his finger under her chin, and lifted her head up. "Is this the first time you've done this?" he asked, thinking that would explain a lot. Brenda nodded her head, "yes. It's the first time I've done any of this." Sonny was taken aback. "Are you saying you're a virgin?" Brenda looked him in the eyes, "yes Mr. Corinthos. Yes I am."
Sonny's already mixed emotions got even more muddled at Brenda's
admission. "Does Sylvia know this?" he asked. Brenda nodded her
head; "yeah. She thought I'd be fine. I'm sorry. Maybe I should call
her and ask her to send someone else over here." Sonny shook his head,
"no. That's not necessary." Brenda's eyes welled up, "Mr. Corinthos
"
"Call me Sonny." "S
Sonny, I don't think I can do this.
I'm sorry." Sonny tried to lighten things up, "oh, you don't like
beautiful guys?" Brenda gave him a sad smile. "It's not you. I'd
have to be blind to not find you very attractive. It's just
" Sonny
cut her off, "shhhh. I know what's going on here." "You do?"
"Yeah. You decided to become an escort because something happened to
you, and you had nowhere else to turn. But it's not what you really want to
do." Brenda relaxed a bit, "oh, you've seen this before, right?"
"Yes, and I can see it in your eyes. Why don't you tell me about
it?" Brenda stood up and stepped away from him. "No, I couldn't
do that. You don't want to hear about my problems." Sonny stood and walked
over to her. "I just said I did, didn't I?" "Look, you're a
very nice man. I don't want to waste your time. I think I should just go,
and I'll call Sylvia to send someone else." She started to walk towards
the door, but Sonny's voice stopped her, "wait a minute." Brenda
turned back to face him, and her heart fell when he added, "you're not
going anywhere."
