Writing
The Horror Writers
Association - a fine group of other scary folk. I also belong
to their New
England chapter.
I've attended two writing workshops and highly recommend both.
The Clarion
Workshop in Science Fiction and Fantasy - a six-week workshop
held every June at Michigan State University. Viable
Paradise - a one-week workshop held every fall on Martha's
Vineyard, Massachusetts.
Gothic.net
- the most respected horror webzine around. It costs $15 a year,
but it's money well-spent.
Computers
WebMonkey
- a great web reference.
Software
Reality - "your pinch of salt."
People
| Amity
Lee-Bradley - my oldest and dearest friend. Also one of
the smartest and sweetest people I know. |

Etchemendy - Bram Stoker Award-winning author. Her collection
Cat in Glass and Other Tales of the Unnatural is just
out from Cricket Books.
|
| Amy
Grech - HWA webmistress, writer, and owner of her own web
design company, Crimson Screams. |
Dan
Keohane - His collection Christmas Trees and Monkeys
is availableas we speak! |
|
Jack
Passarella - another Bram Stoker winner, this time for
his novel Wither. The sequel, Wither's Rain,
is out in February 2003.
|
| L. L. Soares -
a writer friend who lives in the Boston area. Lauran and his
wife Laura (hmm!) are both horror writers. Lauran's story "Little
Black Dress" was the most read story at Gothic.net in 2001. |
Misc
NECON
- an intimate writer's convention held in Rhode Island every July.
The Onion
- my most trusted news source!
The Internet Movie
Database - I could spend all day there.
For
family and other interested parties, here are some scans of my
wife Valerie's artwork.
