A MISSION
Echo After is more than
music. It's more than a band. It's a mission. A
mission to reflect, repeat, resonate, (ECHO) the love that Christ has
shown the world. The band exists to help drive this mission
through music, speaking, and relationships.

BIOGRAPHY
2007 was a big year for
Echo After. The four member modern alternative rock band from Grand Rapids,
MI signed a major management contract in January and soon began work on
their debut full-length album. The album, released in late fall of 2007, was
recorded in Dallas, TX and produced by Grammy award winning producer Eric
Delegard (Bowling for Soup, Submersed, Drowning Pool) and mastered by
Richard Dodd (David Crowder Band, Casting Crowns, Jars of Clay).
Since their stage debut in October, 2005, the popularity of Echo After (EA)
has increased tremendously. The band has impressed audiences at night clubs,
coffee shops, festivals, and churches across Michigan. Though clearly a rock
band, EA presents an array of sound touching elements of modern,
alternative, and pop rock. Because of this mature grasp of music the band
appeals to many age groups from pre-teen to adults.
Echo After’s desire is to
create original music that rocks and touches lives. The guys have a passion
for musical expression as a ministry. Beneath their catchy melodies and
guitar riffs lie authentic lyrics that confront life tragedies and pain.
Yet amidst the darkness of depression, shame, and death, they offer
reassuring hope through Jesus Christ. Whether performing at a church or
night club, EA openly shares their testimony.
One of Echo After’s greatest
assets is their stage show. Labeled by one critic as “the complete
package,” the band creates a unique experience providing musical
entertainment backed by a powerful message. Front-man Drew Hamlet holds a
degree in Youth Ministry and is no stranger to the stage. His ability to
capture audience members through personal testimony is incredible.
Echo After has opened for many national acts including Thousand Foot Krutch,
Pillar, Need to Breathe, RED, Kevin Max of DC Talk, Day of Fire (2x), Decyfer
Down (2x), Everyday Sunday, Kids in the Way, The Showdown, and more.
