Tour 6: Southern Colorado

 When: Mid-July

 Pricing: $1500pp includes lodging, rental car (if needed), roundtrip transportation of your bike and gear from Portsmouth NH, gas, guides, transportation of your bike and gear to the different riding areas and pickup at the airport.  We can pick up your bike and gear if it's on our way out west. Doesn’t include air transportation, and most food.  If we have room, we’ll bring a spare bike.

Rider Limit: Groups of 3 to 6. Up to 2 groups. You should be an advanced novice rider and in pretty good shape.

Day 1: Fly into Denver or Colorado Springs CO. Take a drive up Pikes Peak and drive to Costilla, NM.

Day2: Red River Loop. Ride 70 miles of scenic easy to challenging trails. Easy trails to 11,000 foot peak then a tough climb up to Elephant Mountain summit.

Day 3: Colorado Rainbow Trail loop. 105 miles of scenic easy to challenging trails. Starts off with a 3000ft climb up to 10,000 ft. Awesome views with 25 miles of single tracks high in the mountains. After gas and lunch, another 30 miles of single track at altitude. Then we get into scenic jeep roads thru mining country. You’ll need some rest after this.

Day 4: Drive to Taylor Park . Taylor Park is dirt bike heaven. Cabins in a wide open spot with a lake view surrounded by big mountains. Some easy riding near by or rest up for next 2 days.

Day 5: Taylor Park Loop 1. Some of the most scenic trails in Colorado. There are options to go on some technically challenging trails, but the views are worth it.

Day 6: Taylor Park Loop 2. More of the most scenic trails in Colorado taking you near 14,000ft peaks, mining towns, jeep roads and single track trails.

Day 7: Fly home

 

Tour 7: Western Colorado (2009)

When: September 13 thru September 20 with option of 2 more days (9/22)

Pricing: $1500pp includes lodging, rental car (if needed), roundtrip transportation of your bike and gear from Portsmouth NH, gas, guides, transportation of your bike and gear to the different riding areas and pick up at the airport.  Doesn’t include air transportation,  and most food.

Day 1 (9/13): Fly into Denver CO around 1pm. Take scenic drive to Taylor Park.

Day2: Taylor Park is dirt bike heaven. Cabins in a wide open spot with a lake view surrounded by big mountains. Taylor Park Loop 1.  More of the most scenic trails in Colorado taking you near 14,000ft peaks, mining towns, jeep roads and single track trails. Taylor Park is dirt bike heaven.

Day 3:  Taylor Park Loop 2. Some of the most scenic trails in Colorado. There are options to go on some technically challenging trails, but the views are worth it.

Day 4: 1/2 day of riding in Taylor Park. Drive to Lake City, CO

Day 5: Silverton Loop. 105 miles of super scenic easy to moderate terrain. We go over the Continental Divide 4 times.

Day 6: South Fork. 70 miles of fun ATV trails.
