Dog Sledding and Glacier Flightseeing

This was a first class, well-run operation. After a scenic helicopter tour of the Mountains and Glaciers north of Skagway we landed on Denver Glacier. We were assigned a guide, an experienced Iditarod musher, who took us on a thrilling and informative dogsled ride. This was a complete working summertime training camp for the sport, complete with sleeping and eating quarters. The Guide's enthusiasm and passion for the sport was equally matched by the dogs.
