Nice All Around DVD Authoring Guide

Here's a nice guide on all you should considering when authoring your own video DVDs. The advice seems very sound and his background seems extensive. Since I've got a big project coming up (4+ hours of vacation video to condense into probably one DVD -- although I'm sure everyone will still want an "uncut" version with all the video)

Slipstream Windows XP with nLite

Here's a great utility to make an all-in-one Windows XP install disk. It's kinda nice being able to have one single disk that installs almost all the updates available (including many third party utilities and drivers). Looks to be fairly easy and is recommended by many.

Light an LED for Pennies... wait, WITH Pennies???

A neat science project using household items to power an LED using nothing more than an ice cube tray, some pennies, dimes, paper clips, and an LED. Pretty neat really.
