A Botanical Tour of South Central
China,

spring, May 2012, Steve Hootman, Director of the
Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden led a group of 15 people on a tour
through cities and national forest preserves of South Central China. These areas
are botanically rich, inhabited by dozens of ethnic minorities, who have been
isolated from outsiders until relatively recently-built roads enabled travel
there. Garratt and
Jeanine will each show some of their photos, sharing this experience from
their own perspectives. If
