After Baroque: Music for The Natural Trumpet
While the majority of the music written for natural trumpet is from the
time of J.S. Bach, we have discovered a body of repertoire written after the
baroque, that until now, has remained largely unexplored. While striving to
remain historically responsible, our Consort is also pushing the boundaries of
the natural trumpet repertoire and has commissioned a new work from Boston area
composer Marti Epstein. We are excited to announce our new recording of this
inspired music, including works by Wagner, W.A. Mozart, C.P.E. Bach, Dvorák,
and Britten.
We are happy to offer multiple ways to purchase the CD. You can buy online directly through our record label Origin Classical, amazon.com, iTunes, or many other retailers. If you are a baroque trumpet enthusiast, head over to The Baroque Trumpet Shop and pick up the CD while you check out the great instruments and other items.
