Another Hand... the Healing Hand

Happy to report the left hand is healing nicely (albeit slowly) and I'm more or less back in the saddle in terms of playing.

Just got out of the studio with Steve L., recording 10 tracks for the 2006 SL Band release. Many, many thanks to the excellent staff of Milk Boy Recording for their professionalism, talent, humor, and enthusiasm. Most of the session was EUB work, with a few tracks on fretless and fretted 5-string. You can see from the pics that one of the didgs made an appearance again (with some very interresting recording techniques applied to create an enclosure for properly capturing the presence of the didgs sound). Overall, the base ryhtym tracks are sounding pretty happening, and should be totally killer after editing. I return to giggin' this coming Friday.
