Also, I wanted to thank Michael Kropp for taking the time to check out the site and drop a line. He mentioned that someone from his e-mail list sent him a link to my blog... which must mean that there are at least 3 people reading this (assuming that neither Chip or my mom are on Michael's e-mail list...).

The Steelers, are, alas, big losers this year. Notice I wrote "Steelers" and not "Defending Superbowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers." This is because once you've reached mid-season and are already all but statistically eliminated from the playoffs, you are no longer defending jack sh@*...
