(cough!)...ACK!... and Smilin' Irish Eyes reflectin' the glowing lights of the Kremlin...?

Just getting over a mean bought of bronchitis, I don't think I've been this sick for about the last 10 years or so. Nasty!

So... what to tell you... LOADS of gigs have been booked with the SL band, check out the Gigs page for those. What else... looks like the new SL release Cloud & Water is going to be available next month, will keep you posted on that. I myself am just back from Russia, where the air was cold, the people were warm, and the drinks (and the bowling) were plentiful! Red Square is particularly stunning (and, courtesy of the bells, also loud) at midnight (see inset pic). Almost makes up for spending your birthday by yourself in-transit from Moscow to LHR... (I'm speaking from experience).

Privet Comrades

Off to Russia again tomorrow, so a quick post to update you on recent happenings:
  • Special thanks to the awesome staff of Shaggy's On Main in Newark, DE for the hospitality, continuous feed of shots, and most of all the late-night pizza. Attached is a cell phone pic of the wonderful madness that is Shaggy's. Shagg-a-licious times!
  • Got a gig with Steve-O at the venerable establishment Jitters in downtown West Chester tonight; after that I've got a (dare I say well-deserved) musical break until April.
  • I have head the final mix of the new SL release Cloud & Water and it's sounding very nice. This was an interrsting studio experience for me, as the production involved the help of the studio staff more than I have experienced in the past, and I spread the instrumentation around much more with fretted, frettless, EUB, and didj. Should be available at or before May 2006, I'll keep updates posted here.
