Swapping Jitters & Triumph Gigs

Hi all - quick FYI:

I'm swamping gigs due to family obligations for Ker; so, I will NOT be playing at Triumph in Princeton on Sept. 2, and instead I will be subbing for Skeeter at Jitters *this* Friday. Hope to see you there!

Be well!

Wood, Wood, & More Wood

Nice show at Triumph in New Hope last night. I appreciate the energy of the crowd, and I also appreciate the fine food & fantastic beer! I'm taking a few weeks off now to (hopefully) settle up the big clean-up required after our big storm, and to prep. for my next round of wine courses.

I want to send a quick shout-out to the crew at Stellar Flutes for having their anniversary sale... I've got a nice bubinga drone flute (see pic) coming my way from that sale.. now just need to convince Steve-O that we need a flute solo on the next CD...

As if that purchase is not enough to show that I am totally out of control... I am also working with the fine folks at Bass Central (where I've bought most of my basses from the last few years) on another bass pick up... For this one I'll probably be speaking directly with Mike Tobias (the man behind MTD) on a custom MTD American fretless, not unlike the redwood beauty pictured on the MTD product page.

If you're in the market for a 6-string bass, I'm selling one this week.

Also - Happy early b-days to Mom-mom, Kathleen, & Jody!

See you at Jitters on Friday...? Perhaps, perhaps...

Hope to see you in September anyway at Triumph Brewery in Princeton!

Peace!

Happy belated B-day to Chip. Sorry I did not wish you a happy B-day personally... for some reason I forgot to this (though I did remember to get you a gift!)...

What else to tell you...? ...I begin the WSET Advanced Certificate program next month, wish me luck!

Hi all - great news, the Steve Liberace Band single "Pearl of a Girl" was featured this week on WXPN's Philly Local radio show on WXPN 88.5 FM! I play EUB and didgeridoo on this track.

This means that 88.5 FM is now playing our music! You can request our music on-line at the WXPN website! Please log on and request "Pearl of a Girl" the next time you're surfing on the PC...

Also, check out the PhillyLocal show's MySpace page, which is pretty cool. You can also submit your thoughts about the tunes in their on-line message board on the WXPN.org website.
