Wii Have Sore Arms

Had a blast playing the Summer Solstice festival (happy "real" Summer Solstice to you, by the way!) this past weekend - I know I state this every year but this may have been the best year yet for the venerable Jerry & crew. Here's to many more years of the same craziness! As for the SL Band, we'll be playing at the Jersey Shore at Sand Bar this weekend - if you're in the neighborhood, stop / swim /float by and say hello.
Speaking of shows, about one week to go before the Roberts Summer Concert Series begins in earnest - first up is Rush at Scranton, PA. I'll post a review of the show here, if you're desperate for show details check out the tour spoiler section of RushIsABand.com.
Ker and I recently purchased a Wii. I can say without hyperbole that it is five million times more fun than any other gaming system on the planet. Not that I would know, as I've only played XBox once... or maybe that was PlayStation... I dunno, I'm getting too old to pay much attention to that stuff. Anyway, Wii kicks all kinds of a__, but it will give you very sore arms. I workout 3-4 times per week, and after playing Boxing on this thing for 30+ minutes, I was drenched in sweat.
Finally - I came across a fantastic little piece of software that deserves your attention - CCleaner. This nifty little tool managed to fix my botched installation of IE7 as well as speed up the overall response time of my aging Dell PC by ridding it of 100's of MBs of logs and temp files, as well as cleaning up obsolete Win XP Registry values. Definitely worth the cost ($0.00) and certainly worth contemplating a PayPal donation.
Cheers!

What's up Buttercup
Fans of baked goods will definitely want to try out Cupcakes gourmet, a venture by Maki Evans (a friend of mine & Ker's). Saying that theirs are the best cupcakes ever created by humans is like saying that Bill Gates makes a "comfortable" living. I've yet to encounter anyone that hasn't proclaimed these tasty morsels the best cupcakes they've ever tasted, period. Certainly worth checking out if you want an interesting item for a party (or simply need to indulge in some unique comfort food). Cheers!
