Back in the Saddle Again
Great show last night at The Flying Pig. It feels utterly fantastic to be jamming with the SL Banf boyz again. Looking forward to tonight's show at Jitters in West Chester.
As for me, I'm just back from the Wine 2.0 event in NYC. It was... interesting. I loved hanging out with the guys from BinEndsWine.com - anyway, more on all of that in my wine blog sometime next week.
As I write this post, I a typing away on my new Acer AspireOne UPC (ultra-portable PC). It is, without a doubt, the best personal tech investment I've made in a long, long time. After dealing with hassle after hassle in my Pocket PC HP iPaq (PoS), running Windows Mobile (PoS), I'm finding this little "blogging machine" is fitting exactly the niche I needed for having a personal PC with me when traveling, etc. It fared quite well during the twitter taste live in NYC this week (and generated almost as much interest as the wines did).
I've tricked it out with entirely free softwate (apart from the OS, which is WinXP Home edition). Just in case anyone cares, here are the items I'm finding that I can't function without having on this little suckah:
Cheers!
