If a short/quick workshop sounds
more like you, “Sew Magarbo”
offers projects divided into categories. These sessions are
open to Teenagers/Adults (age 16 & up). They are 2 hours in
length once a week for 4 weeks. Cost is $125 plus $50
Registration fee which is due upon enrollment to hold your spot.
This fee includes the use of our sewing machines and sewing
supplies. Fabrics and Notions not included.
Mommy & Me Sewing
Class
COST:
$125 for the mom + $65 for each child + $50 Registration Fee
2 hours
once a week. 4-week commitment
Spend some quality time with your
child here at our studio doing something creative… learn to
sew. During this class, mom and child or children will make
some fun projects together. You and your cupcake (age 7-14)
will learn basic sewing skills and make some creative projects
to take home. Together you and your child (children) will make:

Drawstring sewing bag
to hold your sewing goodies and supplies.

Matching PJ’s, shorts,
or skirts (your choice)
Kitchen
COST:
$125 + $50 Registration Fee

Under this group fall the
necessaries to complement your kitchen.
Apron, Potholders, and an
Embellished Kitchen Towel.
“Living Room”
COST:
$125 + $50 Registration Fee
2 hours
once a week. 4-week commitment
A
pair of throw pillows, pair of curtain panels, and a coffee table
runner.
Memory Quilt
COST:
$125 + $50 Registration Fee
2 hours
once a week. 4-week commitment
36-patch memory quilt with 8
photographs embedded on fabric.

Learn
to Knit!
COST:
$75 + $25 Registration Fee

hours once a week. 3-week commitment
Yes, we do offer knitting classes. Each class will last 1.5
hours. Cost of $75 for all three classes. Cost for 1 class is
$20. Seats 4-6 students per class. Materials included in cost.
Class 1: First Steps
You will learn how to cast on and the knit stitch (also known as
the garter stitch)
Class 2: Purl and More
You will learn how to purl and how to combine knit and purl
stitches to create basic stitch patterns, such as stockinette,
seed and rib.
Class 3: The End
You will learn how to bind off, how to weave in ends, and other
tips for completing you project neatly.
