FMD: 6.1730 Scene: Flight Surgeon's Office Lieutenant Commander Gollan Toc, the flight surgeon for the 716th Naval Air-space Wing, sat calmly in his chair. Considering the disturbing information he was puzzling over at the moment, one might have found it hard for the Klingon to do. Toc wasn't easily thrown for a loop, however. Commander Miller, had continued to rant and rave, utilizing a distinct southern drawl, that few on the Starbase easily recognized. He spoke of past events with such clarity, when questioned about them, that it it had begun the doctor thinking. He had decided to run some scans on the CAG. Sedating him had become a necessity. Continuing to spout his belief that he was indeed an officer in the army of the Confederate States of America, which Toc found out with a bit of research was a faction that had split with a country known as the United States of America during Earth's 19th Century over a plethera of disputes, he had demanded release from the sick bay. It was now that he was truly reviewing the results of the tests. Brain patterns compared with ones on record for the CAG were different. For that matter, DNA while similar, also showed a few different characteristics. His speech patterns were different.........and if that wasn't already enough to send a physician reeling, Commander Miller's eye color on record was blue. Miller now had brown eyes. Tapping his commbadge, Toc spoke, "Doctor Toc to Commodore Mirtox." [Mirtox here.], growled the Bolian expeditionary force commander. "Sir, I have some disturbing anomalies in Commander Miller's readings." [Has his condition changed?], questioned Dirkas. "Yes.........and no.", replied the Klingon. [Dammit Doc, what is it, yes or no?], demanded the Commodore. "Sir, with all due respect, I'd like to speak to you, Commander Yssar and LT O'Wood, together in my office. It's rather serious. I believe that somehow, Commander Miller, during the explosion that destroyed his shuttle.......somehow.........changed places, literally, with this Colonel Ray from the past.", Toc managed to say, waiting for the outburst from the other end of the line. After a brief pause, DANTEXFORCOM replied, [I'm on my way, doctor. Have everything prepared to brief me and the others.] "Aye, sir.", Gollan replied, running a hand loosely across his ridged brow. He hoped he was right in his assumption, but given the information he had in front of him, it was the only "logical" explanation. Hehehe. Told ya it would get interesting! Just wanted to take a bit of a reprieve from the non-stop fighting that weve been doing for the past oh' almost a year. Us pilots can role-play things other than blowing up Kraggon's and Dalriadan's, and as the fleet mission leaves us behind, I wanted to explore some interesting side-effects that made the ST series so fun to watch. I'll continue to play this out for a while, and anyone, feel free to jump in and play along. Most of this would probably remain hush-hush to a majority of the crew, though E-4 med-techs do tend to gossip, so the word could hit the hallowed halls of ALIGHIERI despite attempts at covering it up.
