[The following text is in the "iso-8859-1" character set] [Your display is set for the "US-ASCII" character set] [Some characters may be displayed incorrectly] FMD 4.1630 SD:100528.2300 CMDR.Gollan had spent most of his first day helping with minor injuries. Although none required any surgery, He still treated everyone as if they would. His soft touch and genuen concern for each and every patient that entered in his facility was a credit to his ambition and skill as a doctor. He was finally able to take a break. He had processed some twenty five patients. Standing in the corner of his small clinic, he observed the two nurses applying bandages to two patients. The nurses worked well as team. Not one skipping a beat as the other would ask for holding pins or required assistance to insure that the bandage was sufficiently held in place. Thats how they did things. Each double checking each other. It made for a good work environment. Tossing his gloves into the waste dispenser, Gollan walked into his small office. He had to duck as the door way was not very high. Even though he was Klingon, he measured 6'9. Everything around him seemed small and rather awkward to near. His desk was small and reminded him of sitting at a child's desk in school. None the less, he made do with what he had. Gollan toggled on his desk computer and accessed the stations records for a list of all pilots. Down loading the names to his terminal, Gollan then noticed a red flashing arrow. It indicated a medical situation in holodeck 3. "Computer what is the nature of the medical emergency in holodeck 3?"Questioned Gollan. "DR. Lebeau has been requested to provide medical aid." Replied the stations computerized voice. "Is this patient a pilot.?"Gollan asked "Affirmative."replied the metallic voice. His thoughts as to why he had not been notified slammed into his forehead. He stood up and exited his office and his clinic. Gollan had no idea where holodeck 3 was and stopped passer by's for direction. FMD 4.1650. Arriving out side of Holodeck 3, Gollan saw a LT.exit out of the simulator carrying what appeared to be a medical bag. "Excuse LT. may I ask what you were doing in there?"questioned Gollan. Remy wasn't sure what to do first. He was amazed at seeing this Giant for the first time. Even double amazed that this rather large Klingon was a CMDR. in the medical field. Not wanting to seem like he was caught with his hands in the cookie jar or having the feeling that he did something wrong, Rely expressed that he was called for a medical emergency and he took care of the matter. "In the future DR. any more further medical needs these pilots need comes to me. I am the Flight Surgeon. I will tend to their medical needs how ever big or small. Is that clear."retorted Gollan. LT.LeBeau turned red with anger. He didn't know if he should slug the Klingon or attempt to set the matter straight with a few selected words from Earths twentieth century vocabulary. (TIM)?? Gollan followed the CAG and two other pilots back down the corridor. The matter with the stations DR. still hot fresh in his mind, he kept muttering words that the other three couldn't understand. As they arrived at the CAG's office Gollan walked in behind all three ducking his head as he entered. "Sir I would appreciate if you would entertain a request."Stated Gollan "Ohhh...If you want my autograph, get in line."replied Pappy as he laid down on his bed. "On the contrary sir, I'd like for you to inform all your pilots that should the need or request further medical assistance that they come see me. As the Flight Surgeon for this Star base, I am solely responsible for their medical treatments. DR.LeBeau will no longer be filling in. He will free to attend to other medical needs now that I'm here."Informed Gollan. "LT, Make sure you take care of that matter for me understand."Questioned Miller as he felt his head begin to take a nose dive into a spin. He closed his eyes quickly to avert any discomfort. "Yes sir" replied Cort. **************************************************************************** **** NRPG: HI ya Tim, Did I put some fire into your shorts..haha..It was at the suggestion of another..My idea though, on How it was done but none the less suggested to spice things up a bit.
