"LT D'artgnan, recloak the ship," CMDR Connor ordered. "Aye, Sir. The ship is recloaked." "Nice work folks," Isaac said, "Stand down from red alert to yellow alert." "Eventually, Sir, they'll realize we're here and they'll be ready for us," Alex said. "Perhaps, but for now we clearly still enjoy the element of surprise," Isaac stood, "XO you have the bridge. Dr. Mara was uneasy about our use of the cloaking device, and I want to hear what she has to say. If you need me I'll be in sickbay." Alex stood and prepared to take over the center seat, "Aye, Sir, I have the bridge." Isaa nodded and walked up the ramp toward the turbolift. As the doors slid shut behind him, Bregan swung his chair around and he said to Alex in a low voice, "Does he have any idea what he's doing?" "I'm afraid not, LT. I'm afraid not." *** The doors of sickbay swished open and Isaac walked in. The room was occupied by several doctors and nurses, but Lisa was not among them. Isaac walked over to Dr. McDonald and asked about Lisa. "Dr. Mara went to her quarters when we stood down from red alert, Sir." "Thanks," Isaac replied. As he left he became concerned about Dr. Mara. It wasn't like a CMO to be away from sickbay in a time of crisis. Coupled with Lisa's concern about the affects of the phase cloak on the crew, Isaac began to wonder if the cloaking device might not be affecting her. While he hadn't seen any biological impact on the rest of the crew, Lisa had seemed pale and worn when they had spoken last on the bridge. He finally stopped in front of the door to her quarters and rang the chime. "Come in," she called and the door slid open. Isaac stepped into the darkened room and it took a moment for his eyes to adjust to the low light. He saw Lisa standing by the window looking pale in the light reflected by the phase cloak bubble. "Dr. you seemed concerned earlier about the effects of the phase cloak on the health of this crew, and I came to talk about that with you. Seeing you, however, makes me wonder if the device is affecting you in particular. I hope you don't take this the wrong way, since I'm an engineer, not a doctor, but you don't look well." Timeline: FMD:7.1500 The YAMATO destroys a Dalriadan destroyer. Alton FMD:7.1500 Isaac leaves the bridge to find Lisa and discuss the biological effects of the cloaking device. He finds her in her quarters. Alton NRPG: Karen: What interesting things is CAPT Stern going to find out about his CMO? Kris: Depending on where this goes, Cassandra may have to interrupt them to report her findings to Isaac.
