Shademaker is a manufacturer of popular Rollup awnings, Bag Awnings, and fabric accessories for the RV market. In 1985, the Shademaker division of NSC Corporation was formed in Chicago. The first roll up awnings were delivered in 1986. A new concept in tent camper awnings was developed in 1987 and the Classic bag awning began production. In 1994, the Shademaker division was transferred to Service Manufacturing Corporation. In early 2003, Shademaker broke away from Service Manufacturing Corporation and began operation under new ownership.
