Spring Quarter 2010 - Project work

Interactive Project Letter To Parents

This is very exciting semester. Insha Allah, students will work on a group project and a mini-paper. The class presentations will be about topics studied in the previous semesters.  Parents are invited to the presentations!

Presentation Schedules:  TBD

Parents are encouraged to help the children find materials about their topic as well as provide time and place to meet with their project partners.

Students are required to do the following as part of the interactive project:

  1. Written paper on the topic with supporting material like facts, pictures, drawings or maps. Paper must be typed in 12 point font,  double-spaced, 1" borders, and must include a works cited/bibliography.

  2. Present a display board with the information around the topics, as well as, supporting material like facts, pictures, drawings or maps. Models or props are encouraged. Optional - Act a scene or present a skit relevant to the topic. Dispay board must be neat, well-organized, and relevant to the subject.

  3. Answer questions from the audience.

  4. Prepare a 4 to 5 questions quiz (in multiple choice, true & false, or trivia format), for their classmates.  Be as creative as you wish.
