2. He was the first father-in-law of Jefferson Davis. Zachary Taylor. [EPT 51] Sara died 3 months after eloping with Davis against her father's wishes.

3. Jefferson Davis served in his cabinet.  Franklin Pierce [TWHT 85]

4. He was the nephew of the Confederate chief of secret service in Europe. Theodore Roosevelt
[CWSF 73].  James D. Bulloch was the brother of Roosevelt's mother, who was born in Georgia.
