3. Was a barker for the wheel of chance at a rodeo. Richard Nixon.  It was called the Slippery Gulch Rodeo.  The wheel of chance was the legal front for back room gambling. [POL 277n]

4.  Played semi-professional baseball. Dwight D. Eisenhower. [BPL 287] This was during his college days.  He used an assumed name (Wilson) to avoid losing his eligibility to play college football.

5. Had a plant named for him in tribute to his contributions to Botanical science. Thomas Jefferson, the plant was called the Jeffersonia diphylla [TJS 118-119 illustration].

6. Worked as a time keeper for the Santa Fe railroad. Harry S. Truman [PS 54]
