1. What was the original name of Camp David, the official country home of U. S. Presidents?

Dwight D. Eisenhower named it "Camp David" after his grandson. Before that it was called "Shangri-La" by Franklin D. Roosevelt.

2. When does the new president move into the White House and the old president move out?  Also where does the old president move to?

On January 20 the new president moves into the White House.  The old president goes home, where ever that is.

3. What is the president's helicopter called?  Marine One

4. Where is the landing pad for Marine One?

"The landing pad for Marine One (the large dual-propeller helicopter) is the South Lawn of the White House.  In fact, if you've ever noticed, there are landing pads for each of the wheels of Marine One when it touches the ground to drop the Prez off at the White House. Everytime the Prez gets helicoptered to the White House he is aboard Marine One.  We've all seen the TV shots of the Prez being saluted as he walks down the stairs of Marine One and then the Prez and first lady walk about 30 yards into the Mansion.....   Marine One never lands anywhere else on the White House grounds.  The South Lawn is the only logical answer." -prez58
