1 Dwight D. Eisenhower (golf): He made a hole in one at age the age of 77. The feat occurred in 1968 on the thirteenth hole (104 yards, par three) of the Seven Lakes Country Club in California. [IM ?]

HARRY S TRUMAN (poker)
This U.S. president loved poker because, as Merriman Smith reported, "Poker was his safety valve." Truman liked to introduce unorthodox variations of the game, employing numerous wild cards.
THE POKER CABINET (poker)
U. S. President Warren G. Harding devoted himself more vigorously to his regular poker game In the White House than to the nation's business. Besides the president, the other players were Secretary of the Interior Albert Fall, Attorney General Harry Daugherty, Jesse Smith, and Veterans Bureau head Charles R. Forbes. After the Teapot Dome scandal, Fall and Forbes went to Jail, Daugherty got two hung Juries, and Smith committed suicide.
FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT (poker, whist, solitaire)
The U.S. president once went directly from a poker game, carrying his chips, to the radio to make a fireside chat to the nation. Throughout his speech he absently clicked his chips, obliterating many of his words.
DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER (bridge)
Said expert Oswald Jacoby of the U.S. piesident; "He plays better bridge than golf; he tries to break 90 at golf; at bridge you would say he does break 80." During W.W. II, an unspoken qualification for service on Eisenhower's staff was an officer's ability to play bridge. Eisenhower particularly admired Gen. Alfted Gruenther because Gruenther was the best bridge player in the U.S. Army.
