Living with a cat, especially a Siberian cat, is a special treat. Cats are easy to keep as pets as long as you care for them properly and you will be rewarded with many years of friendship.
Keeping cats indoors is a simple way to keep a cat safe from harm. The lives of indoor cats can be just as enriching as an outdoor cat without the risks of being outside. Cat trees of carpet or sisal are wonderful to allow cats to climb high and mark their territory. Toys, such as feather teasers, allow for energy release and play directly with their persons. Siberians can be trained to walk on a leash and play games like fetch. Aquariums or bird and squirrel feeders outside windows are wonderful entertainment tools for cats. Regular veterinary checks ensure your feline companion is healthy. Keeping these details in mind will give you and your cat happiness for a lifetime of adventures.

The Siberian is the native forest cat of Russia. They are similar to other native forest cats, the Maine Coon and Norwegian Forest cat. All come from a cold climate and have similar features but differ in bon and facial structure.
Beginning in 1990 the first Siberians were imported from Russia to the United States.
Since that time they have become popular due to their wonderful personality and
low allergenic properties. The personality of the Siberian can be called "dog-

Testimonials:
I have gotten three kittens from Kotchera Siberians, and they were all wonderful animals who had obviously been brought up in a comfortable and loving environment. Wendy truly loves these beautiful cats, and makes sure that the homes they go to are good ones. We're in touch on and off so I can keep her updated on how our cats are doing or she can answer questions I have now and then about their health or how to care for them. I was very lucky to find a breeder who treats her cats and their adoptive parents with such professional and caring attention.

We bought Bailey, a Siberian male kitten, from Wendy in Nov 2007 and he is 11 months
old now. Bailey is a much-
Bailey in some ways seems an old soul who is mature beyond his 1 year of life. He cares for Enzo in a way that is almost maternal. Wendy had shown us one of her other cats named Lunar who also had this calming effect on other cats. That said, Bailey is full of life and will tear around the house like any other kitten. It is clear to us that Bailey had a wonderful upbringing at Wendy's cattery. She taught us that scratching a cat on its head is called a "scritchy". So we always tell Bailey that his is getting a "Scritchy from Wendy!"
We met Wendy at a cat show in California near where we live. We had 2 older Maine
Coons at the time. (We actually learned about the Siberian breed from our Maine Coon
breeder. She had switched to breeding Siberians and had wonderful things to say about
the breed.) After meeting Wendy and seeing her beautiful, healthy cats, we hoped
to get a kitten from her some day. When the time came, we contacted Wendy and she
was a delight to work with, responded to our emails and phone calls, and did everything
to make sure we ended up with a kitten we'd love and be happy with for life. We consider
Wendy a friend now and often send her emails and photos of Bailey. Wendy makes a
lifetime commitment to the cats she brings into the world and loves to hear how they
are doing. Siberians are little-

Our Great Danes and Cats are our family so we took our time researching what breed of kitten to purchase. We had a long list of what our Siberian Kitten must have. We wanted soundness of body and mind, an outgoing personality and physical attributes that would make him or her competitive in the show ring.
As if that was not enough to put on our “wish list” we also wanted to deal with a caring and knowledgeable breeder. You did not disappoint us at all Wendy. Reagan is a dream come true. Thank you for going the extra mile to produce such a wonderful companion for us.

My family originally chose to bring home a Siberian because both my wife and older
daughter are very allergic to cats -
In short, we love our Rudy and he's been a wonderful addition to our family. Oh yes,
